Obama's Speech Misleads Americans on Illegal Immigration & Amnesty

ALIPAC is responding to President Obama's immigration speech by calling on him to abandon his push for Amnesty for illegal aliens and to honor his oath of office and the requirements of the US Constitution by enforcing America's existing border and immigration laws.

"We call on all candidates for Congress to clearly state their opposition to Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "President Obama is committing a form of Treason against the American public by refusing to adequately enforce our existing immigration and border laws at the behest Global corporations and financial influences intent upon usurping the self-governance of the American public. Americans want immigration enforcement, instead of Obama's Amnesty and we expect voters to punish Amnesty supporters in the 2010 elections."

Obama mischaracterized legal immigrants in today's speech, as he criticized Arizona's new law, SB 1070, which is now being considered in more than twenty states!

Obama cited the contributions of Albert Einstein, Nicola Tesla, and many other legal immigrants to the United States. It is patently insulting and a cheap political trick to compare law abiding legal immigrants with illegal aliens who willingly violate a series of US laws to take what is not theirs and what is not freely given by American citizens.

"Obama's speech was the same old tricks, since he confused legal immigrants with illegal aliens, and offered the false choice of blanket amnesty vs. mass deportations," said William Gheen. "Obama is trying to trick the American public by confusing legal and illegal and offering false choices, instead of doing his job properly."

Obama's speech was made at American University, which is where Dr. Robert Pastor has advocated the formation of a North American Community, which has been called a North American Union by those opposed to the components of the plan that calls for a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Obama also used the words 'Security and Prosperity' in his speech to convey his support for the Pastor plan, which was manifest during the Bush administration as the Security and Prosperity Partnership or SPP.

ALIPAC is launching a revised website at www.AgainstAmnesty.com to help Americans track, spread, and pass versions of Arizona's immigration laws in other states. Twenty states are currently listed.

ALIPAC will launch candidate surveys and pledges to all Federal candidates on July 5th that are designed to help voters determine which candidates support or oppose the Bush/Obama Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty plan. ALIPAC intends to endorse candidates who oppose the plan, while encouraging Americans to contribute to and volunteer on those endorsed campaigns.

"We encourage our political opposition to make sure their candidates proudly display their support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty," said William Gheen. "We will encourage our candidates to display their opposition. That way, the American public can clear many of these traitors out of office this year."

North Carolina Becomes 18th State Pushing Arizona's New Immigration Law

Raleigh, NC - The home state of Americans For Legal Immigration PAC's (ALIPAC) President William Gheen has joined the rapidly growing list of states that are rushing to follow Arizona's lead of cracking down on illegal immigration with state laws.

North Carolina now becomes the 18th state that ALIPAC has documented moving forward with a version of Arizona's controversial, yet popular immigration law. Numerous scientific and certified polls indicate 60-81% public support for local police enforcing immigration law as the Arizona bill does.

NC's Senate Joint Resolution (SJ 1349), filed by NC State Senator Don East (R-Surry), and would allow a version of Arizona's immigration bill (SB 1070) to be filed during the short session of the NC Legislature this year. This resolution has 12 sponsors already and room for more lawmakers to add their names.

North Carolina's legislature is currently in what is called the "short session' where only bills relevant to the state budget are allowed to be filed. It requires a joint resolution to be passed to waive that rule.

Passage of SJ 1349 would allow Senator East to file NC's version of the Arizona bill, which would be titled "AN ACT TO CREATE THE CRIME OF WILLFUL FAILURE TO CARRY OR COMPLETE AN ALIEN REGISTRATION
DOCUMENT."

"I am proud to announce that North Carolina's lawmakers are rising to support Arizona and 17 other states for the Rule of Law and immigration enforcement," said William Gheen, a North Carolina native and President of the nation's 3rd largest immigration enforcement group. "We need to send a clear message to Washington to secure our borders and a clear message to illegal aliens to go home."

ALIPAC's extensive national network of citizen activists helped pass Arizona's immigration enforcement bill SB 1070 and has since worked to help carry versions of the bill to as many other states as possible.

The current list of states following Arizona's lead on immigration enforcement include ARKANSAS, IDAHO, INDIANA, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NEW JERSEY, NORTH CAROLINA, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, TEXAS, UTAH.

UPDATED LIST OF STATES WITH DETAILS FOR EACH AT...
http://www.alipac.us/ftopict-196989.html

ALIPAC's national strategy is to encourage as many other states as possible to follow Arizona's lead to alleviate the political antagonism directed at Arizona from the government of Mexico, the National Council of La Raza, President Obama and several liberal city councils.

ALIPAC's North Carolina supporters are being asked to call and write their state legislators in support of Senator East's SJ 1349, which is a version of Arizona's immigration enforcement law for NC. Special efforts are requested to ask the chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, David Hoyle (D-Gaston, (919) 733-5734) to request the bill be scheduled for consideration in committee.

ALIPAC will be launching an effort to notify the public about this legislation by conducting talk radio interviews across the state!

"Any bill that would help alleviate problems caused by illegal immigration will not move forward in NC, without a ground swell of public support and enthusiasm," said William Gheen. "For many years the Democratic leadership of our state has protected, aided and abetted illegal aliens by providing them with taxpayer benefits and has stopped those of us who were trying to protect American jobs, wages, property, and lives. I hope this year we can make progress with our version of Arizona's bill."

ALIPAC is a North Carolina based national organization with over 30,000 supporters representing Americans of every race, political party, state, and walk of life. ALIPAC's President, William Gheen, is a lifelong NC native, alumni of ECU and UNC, and prior employee of and consultant to numerous members of the NC General Assembly.

ALIPAC Comments on Obama's Inadequate Troop Deployment to AZ

ALIPAC Comments on Obama's Inadequate Troop Deployment to the Border

May 25, 2010

www.alipac.us

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is criticizing reports that President Obama plans to send only 1,200 National Guard troops into the border disaster areas to fight the drug and human importing cartels.

Different official estimates indicated that three to ten thousand illegal aliens cross the Southern border of the United States each night, transported in with drugs by cartels that have over 135,000 gang members in their smuggling operations according to the Pentagon. More than 1200 people have been murdered by these same cartels in Mexico this year.

"I feel like a starving man that's been handed a cracker," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "This low number of troops is woefully inadequate and is further proof that President Obama does not take his Constitutional responsibility to protect all states from invasion seriously."

Thousands of Americans are being killed by illegal aliens each year due to the Executive Branch's failure to secure our borders and enforce our existing immigration laws at the request of the US Chamber of Commerce and other special interest groups.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and businesses due to illegal labor.

American wages have been depressed by billions of dollars, billions of dollars in taxpayer resources are being stolen by illegal immigrants each year, and the total losses of property are immeasurable.

"Obama sending 1,200 National Guard troops up against the drug cartel armies is about as sick of a joke as his pledge we will be landing on Mars in 2035," said William Gheen. "I hope the new Congress in 2011 impeaches him and Joe Biden, and considers putting them both on trial for treason against the American public. Then perhaps we can get our borders secured and citizens protected during a time of war."

The US Constitution requires the President and Congress to protect all states from invasion. The American public overwhelming expects our borders to be secured, especially during a time of war. Yet, American borders remain open and news stories from across America roll in about illegal aliens raping, murdering, molesting, menacing, and threatening Americans in many ways.

While Janet Napolitano recently lied by saying the borders are secured, stories fill the blogosphere each day like the one where an illegal alien deported 9 times has been accused of raping a woman in Edmonds, Washington in broad daylight. Several of these kinds of news reports can be found at alipac.us each week.

AZ immigration law: Mexico consul braces for mass exodus of illegals from AZ!
Posted by ALIPAC on June 1st, 2010 at 11:34am

The new consul general of Mexico in Phoenix said his office is preparing for an exodus from Arizona because of the state's stringent new immigration law, but he is appealing for Mexicans living here to remain calm because the law hasn't taken effect.

"We are sending the message. Stay calm. You don't have to take your kids right away (and leave)," Victor Manuel Treviño Escudero, 50, said Tuesday in his first interview since being appointed. "But if the school year ends, and the law is enforced, then you have to take proper action."

Topics = Illegal Immigration, Mexican consulates, Arizona immigration law, Gov. Jan Brewer, sovereignty

The Arizona Republic

The consul general of Mexico in Phoenix oversees consulates in Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma and Las Vegas and serves as the Mexican government's chief diplomat in Arizona and Nevada. The consulates serve Mexicans living legally and illegally abroad, including the 700,000 to 750,000 living in Arizona.

Treviño Escudero arrives in Arizona just 2 1/2 weeks after Gov. Jan Brewer signed the nation's toughest anti-illegal-immigration law, which makes it a crime to be in the state without proper immigration papers. It also requires local and state police to get more involved in immigration matters by contacting federal immigration authorities when they encounter someone they reasonably suspect to be in the country illegally.

Supporters and opponents of the law say it could lead to a wave of immigrants leaving Arizona. They point to the more than 100,000 illegal immigrants who have left in the past two years because of the state's poor economy and earlier immigration crackdowns.

Treviño Escudero said that, as a Mexican official, he respects the sovereignty and laws of the United States, including Arizona's new immigration law.

"But that doesn't mean we have to like it," he said inside the offices of the Mexican Consulate on West Camelback Road in Phoenix.

Treviño Escudero was previously head of the consulate in Brownsville, Texas. His first official day in Phoenix was Tuesday, but he has been transitioning into the job for the past two weeks, replacing Carlos Flores Vizcarra, who was transferred to a consulate in North Carolina. Last week, Treviño Escudero hosted several high-level meetings at the consulate in Phoenix with Mexican Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan and Julian Ventura, Mexico's undersecretary for North America, to discuss the Mexican government's response to the new law.

In case the law results in a flood of Mexicans detained or arrested for possible immigration violations, the Mexican government is boosting to 11 from eight the number of people who work in the consulate's department in charge of protecting the rights of Mexicans in this country. The Mexican government also is considering filing legal briefs in support of several lawsuits that have been filed challenging the constitutionality of the law.

This week, the five Mexican consulates in Arizona - in Phoenix, Tucson, Nogales, Douglas and Yuma - will begin distributing thousands of brochures that include a toll-free number to call for legal advice and to report abuses by authorities.

The brochure advises "that in order to make the best decisions it is very important to stay calm. There is no reason to rush."

It also reminds people that the law doesn't take effect until July 29.

Immediately after the law was passed, the number of people visiting the consulate to apply for Mexican passports and Mexican birth certificates for their U.S.-born children jumped from about 20 a day to 100 a day, indicating that many people were considering leaving Arizona and returning to Mexico, Treviño Escudero.

The number has since dropped, a sign that people are waiting to see what happens with the law, he said.

Treviño Escudero said he is concerned the law fails to recognize the hard work and contributions of illegal immigrants to the state's economy.

He said the Mexican government does not condone illegal immigration.

"The idea is people should not cross illegally, but to understand that the people are here because of the markets that need them," he said. "Also, these are people with deep roots here, because many of them have U.S.-born children."

Treviño Escudero also is concerned the law will lead to police harassment and civil-rights violations of Mexicans who are living legally in Arizona, including Mexican-born residents who are naturalized U.S. citizens.

He has already met with Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and representatives from several immigrant-rights and Latino organizations.

Danny Ortega, a Phoenix lawyer, said the new consul faces major challenges.

"He's going to have the regular run-of-the-mill challenges serving an area with a very large Mexican population," Ortega said. "And he is facing the potentially large consequences of the anti-immigrant environment we live in as well."

Sheriff Joe Arpaio defends the new Arizona immigration law
Posted by ALIPAC on June 1st, 2010 at 11:33am

Joe Arpaio, the freewheeling sheriff of Arizona’s Maricopa County, visited Las Vegas on Friday, defending his state’s tough new immigration law, saying that it will not, as critics have charged, lead to widespread racial profiling.

In fact, he said the law, which makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and directs police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they’re illegal immigrants, adds little more than a small degree of cover for the aggressive immigration programs that have earned him the label of “America’s toughest sheriff.”

Subjects: Illegal Immigration, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Arizona immigration law, immigration status, workplace raids

Michael Mishak
Las Vegas Sun

“We’ve been doing almost the same as that new law,” he told reporters at a roundtable discussion organized by the Nevada News Bureau. “Now, law enforcement won’t have any problems.”

The issue is relevant here because Republican Assemblyman Chad Christensen, a long-shot candidate for U.S. Senate, is drafting a ballot initiative that would replicate the Arizona law in Nevada. Immigration is also a flashpoint in the governor’s race, with former federal Judge Brian Sandoval supporting the Arizona law and Gov. Jim Gibbons opposing it.

As a result of the law, Arpaio said, officers have more flexibility to ask people about their immigration status during workplace raids.

“Everything else, we’ve been doing it anyway, and we’ve been doing a good job without much controversy, outside of the demonstrators,” he said. “Let’s give the new law a chance.”

Arpaio has taken heat for turning the sheriff’s office into a sort of freelance immigration-enforcement agency. He has he set up a hot line for the public to report immigration violations, conducts crime and immigration sweeps in heavily Latino neighborhoods and frequently raids workplaces for people in the U.S. illegally.

Many in the Latino community consider him and his policies to be racist, a charge he denied with vigor.

“I’m not a racist, like people say I am,” he said. “I have never gone on the street corner and grabbed someone because they look like they’re from another country. We don’t do that.”

Officers ask about immigration status only if people have been detained for a crime, such as speeding, he said.

Arpaio portrayed himself as a victim, lamenting activists who have pictured him alongside Adolph Hitler and smashed pinatas with his image. He said Arizona’s immigration law is widely misunderstood, even as many groups have organized a business boycott of the state.

Addressing another criticism, he said the law protects victims and witnesses who are here illegally from deportation, noting that most of his office’s crime tips come from illegal immigrants.

“I think the panic and the hype and the misinformation is causing people to feel it’s worse that it is,” he said.

Arpaio said President Barack Obama has misunderstood the new law, saying perhaps the controversy called for a “beer summit” similar to when the president met with Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Cambridge, Mass., police Sgt. James Crowley to calm tensions after a racially-tinged arrest.

“Why doesn’t he invite me to the White House so I can have some wine?” Arpaio asked.

Still, the Obama administration has had its sights on Arpaio. He’s the target of a Justice Department investigation into discriminatory conduct. A federal grand jury met this week to explore allegations of abuses of power and prosecutorial authority, according to the Arizona Republic.

On Friday, Arpaio taunted federal investigators. “They’ve been at it for a year and a half,” he said. “I feel very comfortable they are not going to find anything on racial profiling.”

He also said controversy helps his poll numbers.

Arpaio said that his aggressive immigration enforcement has contributed to a reduction in the crime rate.

“Everybody is moving out of town. That’s a good thing,” he said. “Let them move to Nevada and California. I think our program is working as a deterrent.”

He said that 18 percent of inmates who go through the county jail system are found to be undocumented. Stepped-up enforcement is needed because of escalating violence on the border, he said.

“The violence has increased,” he said. “It’s volatile and it’s getting worse. It seems like the president can’t get a hold on it. I presume he’s doing the best he can. But people feel this violence is going to cross our borders. ... We have a 2,000-mile border that doesn’t seem secure, and there’s always that chance a terrorist could come across.”

For all his detractors, Arpaio had no apologies or regrets. “I’m not really sorry about anything I did in my life,” he said, before adding, “Maybe I should have run for governor — not now — years ago. Maybe that would have given me a chance to run for president.”

After an hour of jousting, he was off to speak to a group of conservatives at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country bar in Las Vegas, where pro-immigration groups planned to protest his appearance.

“The more the merrier,” Arpaio said. “They follow me everywhere. I hope they spend some money in your casinos.”

Arizona's immigration law spreads
Posted by ALIPAC on June 1st, 2010 at 11:29am

Grassroots organization counts 12 states considering similar legislation

Posted: May 04, 2010

By Drew Zahn
2010 WorldNetDaily

A national grassroots organization that fights illegal immigration is boasting that Arizona's controversial new immigration-enforcement law is an idea that's catching on.

According to a statement from the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, as many as 12 other states have legislators who are already pushing or considering drafting legislation similar to Arizona's S.B. 1070, which requires local law enforcement officers during the course of a "lawful stop, detention or arrest" to ask for proof of citizenship or legal immigration status and turn those without it over to federal authorities for deportation.

"We are excited to see so many Americans who represent the 60 – 81 percent of U.S. citizens who support Arizona's S.B. 1070 contacting their state lawmakers to ask for similar legislation," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Our network of over 30,000 supporters started asking other states to follow Arizona weeks before Governor Brewer signed the bill. We will not stop until we have S.B. 1070 protecting American jobs, wages, health and lives in all 50 states."

To monitor the growing number of states considering similar legislation, ALIPAC utilizes a public forum, where members can update the organization with news articles and other proofs of states where the push for an Arizona-like law is making headway.

So far, 12 states – Arkansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pensylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Utah – have made the list.

In Arizona's neighboring state Utah, for example, Rep. Stephen Sandstrom, R-Orem, is drafting a bill that would similarly require immigrants to carry proof of status and require law enforcement officers to check for it.

"Utah is seen as state that welcomes illegal immigrants. We almost encourage it with driving privilege cards and in-state tuition for illegals," Sandstrom told The Salt Lake Tribune. "With Arizona making the first step in this direction, Utah needs to pass a similar law or we will see a huge influx of illegals. The real issue is just establishing a rule of law in our state."

Across the country in Maryland, Baltimore's WBAL-TV reports that State Delegate Patrick McDonough, R-Baltimore County, is drafting a bill for his state identical to the one passed in Arizona. He's also planning to poll his fellow legislators before the bill is filed.

"After July 6, when all the candidates have filed for the General Assembly and governor," McDonough told the station, "we're going to do a survey and we're going to find out who supports and opposes it so the voters can make a decision before the election."

A Rasmussen Reports poll released earlier today states that among voters nationwide 59 percent favor legislation like Arizona's that authorizes local police to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant and 32 percent oppose such a law.

24 Hour Countdown: Time To Take To The Streets!
Posted by ALIPAC.us on April 14th, 2010 at 11:15am

Friends of ALIPAC & Tea Party Supporters,

Please read carefully and respond fervently and efficiently.

A massive amount of new support is rushing into our operations. We have never seen this many new people sign up in our five year history. We want to give a special welcome to all of the new folks who have joined our email alert lists and taken interest of our Tea Party Against Amnesty events April 15-17.

We also want to thank all of the NumbersUSA supporters who have signed up to support this effort. We hope all of our supporters will sign up at and support via www.NumbersUSA.com

Some of our diverse ALIPAC supporters are not fans of the Tea Party movement, however, they understand that 90% of Tea Party supporters oppose illegal immigration and amnesty with us. Most understand that we need broad coalitions to stop amnesty and reverse illegal immigration.

Some, unfortunately, are buying into the massive negative propaganda assault on the Tea Party movement. All we will say about that right now is that the Tea Party folks are not violent and not racist. They are being attacked in the same way our Border Security Movement has been attacked. They are being attacked because the powers that favor elite rule in America want to stop and divert the political revolution that is growing in America today.

If anyone reading this has any doubts about the Tea Party movement, you should stop listening to CNN and MSNBC and actually go to one of these events and talk with the people there to understand the realities vs. the propaganda.

ALIPAC is proud to stand with other Americans who share our cause of border security and enforcement of our immigration laws, and we will stand up against those who want to assault free speech and freedom of assembly for Americans.

PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

Step 1: Locate the Tea Party Against Amnesty event we are supporting because opposition to illegal immigration and amnesty will be a prominent issue. You can find the nearest event at www.AgainstAmnesty.com We will continue adding new events through the night.

Step 2: If you cannot locate a Tea Party Against Amnesty that you can reach at www.AgainstAmnesty.com , then visit these websites to locate the Tea Party nearest you if you must, but remember there is no assurance illegal immigration will be opposed at the events not on our maps. More events found at...

http://taxdayteaparty.com/directory/
http://www.teapartypatriots.org/Today.aspx?date=4/15/2010
http://teapartypatriots.ning.com/

Step 3: Make sure you are signed up as a supporter and use the 'Tell A Friend About Us' feature on the right of the homepage to tell all of your contacts to visit www.AgainstAmnesty.com to sign up and participate. You can also make posts on other websites, forward emails, and use Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter to help us spread the word. Please do all you can to get the numbers as high as you can at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

Step 4: Call friends and neighbors and take them with you, if you can. Many of the folks attending Tea Party events are invited and brought by word of mouth and personal invitations.

Step 5: Let the media and nation see many of our signs at events all across America in the next few days. Make signs that express your opposition to illegal immigration and amnesty in racially inclusive and non-offensive ways. Please do not use racially-charged language or Mexican imagery. Tea Party organizers love people to bring lots of big good signs, so put your message on a sign and hold it high!

Here are some sign suggestions, we even have some you can print out online.

"Stop and Reverse Illegal Immigration"
"No Graham, No Schumer, No McCain, No Amnesty!"
"Hayworth for Senate!"
"Enforcement Instead of Amnesty"
"No Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty"

Here are some more sign suggestions that you can print up online. Make your own sign, or ask a friend to make one, or call up a local printer and copy shop and order what you want.

More Sign Suggestions
http://www.alipac.us/ftopicp-1041935.html#1041935

Step 6: Consider printing out fliers from ALIPAC and NumbersUSA to hand out to others at Tea Party events. These are easy to print at home and can be copied inexpensively in large numbers. Here are the three fliers we want distributed as much as possible at Tea Party events across America on April 15-17

Please speak to others at the events, hand them fliers, and encourage them to stand up against illegal immigration and amnesty by joining ALIPAC and NumbersUSA. Tell them to visit us online and sign up!

Step 7: Many of the Tea Party organizers are looking for speakers and tables. If you would like to speak out against illegal immigration and amnesty in a racially inclusive way or if you would like to set up a table for ALIPAC and get people to sign up with their names and e-mails at your table, please contact event organizers to offer to do that via www.AgainstAmnesty.com. You can also contact WilliamG@alipac.us for suggestions and assistance, if you want to speak out or run a table for us.

We want to thank each of you for making the effort to make our Tea Party Against Amnesty effort a success.

Remember that ALIPAC's President, William Gheen, will be speaking in Houston, TX (April 15), Murfreesboro, TN (April 16), and Greenville, SC (April 17). Our movement's friends and allies like Congressman Tom Tancredo, Jerome Corsi, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, J.D. Hayworth, and NumbersUSA all will be speaking at different locations during these events.

It's time to take to the streets and speak out loudly America!

PS: Many folks have asked why we are not listing or supporting the Tea Party march in Washington D.C. on April 15. We are not supporting that event because many of the organizers of the D.C. event support Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty and Open Borders, and they do not want opposition to illegal immigration to be a prominent issue at their D.C. march. Since ALIPAC opposes illegal immigration, Comprehensive Amnesty, and open borders, we are focusing our efforts on the local Tea Party events.

Illegal Immigration Prominent Issue At Many Tea Party Events

Americans, signs, tables, groups, leaders, and guest speakers who are racially inclusive and opposed to illegal immigration and Obama's push for Amnesty for illegal immigrants will be prominent features at many Tea Party Against Amnesty protests April 15-17.

"We are encouraging Americans coast to coast to stand up and speak out against Obama's push for Amnesty for illegal aliens and the President's refusal to send the National Guard to the border to defend American jobs, wages, property, health and lives," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC.

Over 7,000 people have signed up to show their support and over 35 event organizers have asked to be listed at www.AgainstAmnesty.com Events listed on the website have confirmed that speakers, signs, and tables that oppose illegal immigration and Amnesty will be present at their events. While new events and supporters are added each day, more of the hundreds of Tea Party events that are not listed are expected to have Americans protesting illegal immigration as well.

ALIPAC and a coalition of over 25 Border Security groups helped the success of the Tea Party movement by joining a coalition to support events nationally in April and July of 2009. The first round of Tea Party Against Amnesty events held in over 50 cities and towns on November 14, 2009 succeeded in pushing Congressman Guitierezz's plans to file his Amnesty bill back into December of last year thus destroying almost any chance of HR 4321 passing.

Congressman Tom Tancredo and William Gheen will be guest speakers at numerous Tea Party events along with other well known Amnesty opponents.

Tancredo will be a guest speaker at the Tea Party in Tempe, Arizona to be held on Thursday, April 15, 4:30-8:30pm in the Tempe Diablo Baseball Stadium. He will then fly to South Carolina, where he will be speaker at another large Tea Party in Greenville, SC on Saturday April 17, 1-5pm. The South Carolina event will be behind the Bi Lo Center on 600 East North Street.

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio is expected to speak at the Tea Party held April 15, 1045 E Juniper Rd. at Freestone Park in Gilbert, Arizona.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's President, William Gheen will address a crowd expected to exceed 10,000 in Houston, Texas at the Sam Houston Race Track on April 15, 5-8PM. He will then fly to Murfreesboro, TN to address thousands gathered for a Tea Party on Friday, April 16, 5-7pm at 109 N. Maple Street on Murfreesboro's historic downtown Square. Then William will fly to Greenville, South Carolina to join Congressman Tom Tancredo to speak at the Bi Lo Center 1-5PM on April 17.

William Gheen will be video blogging during his travels and conducting talk radio show interviews every step of the way.

"My goal is to awaken, rally, and organize Americans of every race, party, and walk of life who represent the majority of our citizens who oppose illegal immigration and this kind of Amnesty legislation touted by Republicans and Democrats who have betrayed the American public," said William Gheen. "There's a huge political revolution brewing in America today, as our abused citizenry organizes to restore America to We The People."

Many analysts and pundits agree that the Tea Party movement is yet another manifestation of a rising political revolution that seeks to change Washington, DC and remove corrupt incumbent Democrats and Republicans. GOP operatives have begun spending millions of dollars attempting to take control of the Tea Party movement to focus it on finite and ineffectual generalities such as taxation, smaller government, and "free markets".

"Illegal aliens and their supporters are marching across America making demands of us. Now it is time for Americans to demand that our existing border and immigration laws are enforced, while we still have a country," said William Gheen. "Over 90% of the Tea Party folks, and over 80% of all Americans want our borders secured and our immigration laws enforced now!"

Mexicans Bomb US Consulate and threaten US Lawmakers!
Posted by ALIPAC on April 11th, 2010 at 4:38pm

Friends of ALIPAC,

We have breaking news out of Mexico and Texas. A U.S. consulate has been bombed in Mexico! Illegal alien and drug-importing assassins are threatening U.S. lawmakers and their families in Texas, while the White House continues to refuse to deploy National Guard troops to the border.

In fact, the Obama administration continues to focus Homeland Security on the hopes of Amnesty legislation passing for millions of illegal aliens, instead of protecting American property, health, security, wages, jobs, and lives from terrorists and illegal immigration.

U.S. Sen. Harry Reid refused to meet with American taxpayers recently, but found the time this weekend to promise his army of illegal aliens in Las Vegas that Comprehensive Immigration Reform AMNESTY will be pushed and passed starting next week! He said they would pass the Amnesty legislation "just like the health care bill".

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) made the same promise to a large mob of illegal aliens and their supporters as well, while the illegals plan more "mega marches" against our nation on May 1!

TAKE ACTION NOW AND SPREAD THE WORD.

Get your local Tea Party and your friends signed up fast at www.AgainstAmnesty.com Get your schedules cleared, travel plans made, handouts and signs read for our Tea Party Against Amnesty events April 15-17.

The illegals and their backers are pushing hard, let's get our counter protest efforts rolling strong!

Volunteer Action Needed For Tea Party Against Amnesty Events
Posted by ALIPAC on April 8th, 2010 at 12:51pm

Friends of ALIPAC,

Over 90% of the Tea Party attendees are with us on immigration enforcement and we have a mission to speak out against illegal immigration and against Obama's Comprehensive Amnesty push in Washington during Tea Party events April 15-17.

We have very exciting news to release first of next week about this project, but right now we need your help.

We hope that each of you will take immediate action on these three urgent items below.

ITEM 1

Please arrange your schedule to attend the Tea Party Against Amnesty event closest to you on April 15-17. Many of you do not have an event close by yet so please check in often, as new events are added each day. Also, see ITEM 3 for ways you can help increase the number of events near you. You will receive information about signs, tables and guest speakers soon. New events added daily at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

ITEM 2

Please use the resources we provide to make sure everyone you can contact has been invited and encouraged to sign up at www.AgainstAmnesty.com You can use the "Tell A Friend About Us" feature on the right side of the website, or you can forward this very e-mail to your contacts. If you are a Facebook or Twitter user, you can invite your friends using those as well. IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET AS MANY PEOPLE TO SIGN UP AT www.AgainstAmnesty.com We have 7,000 people so far and we need those numbers climbing each day between now and April 17

ITEM 3

This is a very important request that we truly need many of you to respond to.

We need your help getting more events listed on our maps at www.AgainstAmnesty.com Right now, there are over 800 Tea Party events going on next week but only 32 are on our maps at this time.

This is what we need you to do...

Step 3-A Please go to one of the following websites or all of these websites to look for existing Tea Party events near you or in your state planned for April 15-17, 2010

http://www.teapartypatriots.org/Today.aspx?date=4/15/2010

http://taxdayteaparty.com/directory/

http://teapartypatriots.ning.com/

http://www.teapartynation.com/

Step 3-B Please contact the event organizers in your state to say "I am one of over 7,000 people looking to attend a Tea Party event on April 15-17, but I'm looking for events that welcome and encourage racially inclusive Americans, signs, tables, groups, leaders, and guest speakers that oppose illegal immigration and Obama's Comprehensive Amnesty legislation in DC.'"

Step 3-C If the organizers you locate and speak with by e-mail and phone agree to 'welcome and encourage' on our issue then we simply need them to e-mail the following info to

INFO@AgainstAmnesty.com

Organizer Name:
Organizer Email:
Organizer Phone: (not for display)
Event Date
Event Hours
Event Location, street add, city, state, zip
Event Location Description:

Please consider taking immediate action on items 1, 2, and 3 to get the ball rolling and be ready for our next activism alert.

Please keep in mind that very powerful political forces on the left and right are at work trying to divide and confuse the American public.

The corrupt left is trying to defame the Tea Party attendees in the exact same way they have always attacked our immigration enforcement movement. They are making false claims that our fellow Americans are evil, racist, and violent.

The corrupt right is trying to take over the Tea Party movement and steer the movement away from secure borders and immigration enforcement issues and into supporting "Freedom" for Global corporations that will import all the cheap illegal labor they want. These people on the right are one step away from trying to get the Tea Party leaders supporting NAFTA and CAFTA concepts.

We will not concede any political battlefield to the enemies of the American public on either the right or the left upper echelons!

ALIPAC and 25 immigration enforcement groups helped build the Tea Party movement (in 2009) into the respected political force it is today.

Let's pull Americans together of every race, political party, and walk of life to stand together against the corruption in Washington that is destroying our nation.

6 Day Countdown
Posted by ALIPAC on March 25th, 2010 at 10:21am

Friends of ALIPAC,

Only six days remain for us to reach our minimum safe fund raising goal of $30,000. While ALIPAC has never failed to reach our goals, the last few funds drives have been like pulling teeth.

If you want to see Americans for Legal Immigration PAC continue our mission as one of the largest national organizations in America fighting against illegal immigration and against Amnesty on your behalf, then please get your donation on the way now!

Visit our Secure Online Donations Page at this link...

or mail your check to

ALIPAC
PO Box 30966
Raleigh, NC 27622

Due to many factors, including the bad economy and shifting interests, over 40 smaller groups and organizations in our coalition have folded in the the last year.

Today, we say farewell to ALIPAC's ally known as the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps headed up by Chris Simcox and Carmen Mercer. Citing a lack of adequate funding, the group has sent out a national release announcing their permanent closure.

This leaves ALIPAC as the only major national group formed since 2004 to still be in operation.

We need a very strong response to THIS EMAIL request to make sure ALIPAC does not join the growing organizational casualty list.

Please click on this link to proceed to our secure online donations page....
http://www.alipac.us/content-9.html

We only have SIX DAYS LEFT to raise almost $11,000. Should we fail to reach our minimum operations budget, we will use your donations to keep the main site operational as long as possible during a phased out shutdown.

We must remind you all that ALIPAC is the largest archive of information in existence about illegal immigration, and we have played a key role in the defeat of Amnesty legislation in 2006 and 2007.

An ALIPAC shutdown would deprive the American public of over half of the information about illegal immigration that is currently on the Internet.

An ALIPAC shutdown would send you up against the new push for Amnesty in Washington, without one of your key players that defeated them in 2006 and 2007.

The current average contribution per ALIPAC supporter receiving this e-mail is only 0.70 per person for 2010. That level must exceed $1 per person withing six days to keep ALIPAC in the fight.

CORNYN BACKS AWAY FROM OBAMA's AMNESTY

As the latest display of proof of your activism power and ALIPAC's strategies, we are pleased to announce that Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) is backtracking on his flirtations with Amnesty supporters.

We gathered up the multiple examples proving that Cornyn was in negotiations to support Amnesty.

We alerted you and gave you the phone numbers and message suggestions you needed.

You called by the thousands.

Now Cornyn has publicly turned about face, and the illegal aliens supporters are crying all over the web about how ALIPAC helped pressure him away from their Amnesty negotiations.

Here, you can read about your work in action in this article...

We hope you will help lift our funds drive with a flood of donations so we can return our focus to the counter protests against Amnesty we are working on, our candidate endorsements which will stop Amnesty in 2010, and our other activist efforts.

Please remember that our recent intense battles with John McCain and the Pro-Amnesty protesters in Washington have added increased costs to our operations that are not even calculated in our minimum budget requests.

ALIPAC is issuing the following responses to today's 'March For America' which is attempting to place over 100,000 illegal immigrants and their supporters on the Washington Mall to demand Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty from DC Lawmakers.

"We are dubbing this Amnesty march the March Against America.", said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC.

"A large majority of Americans want comprehensive immigration enforcement, instead of comprehensive AMNESTY" -- William Gheen.

"People should consider calling Janet Napolitano's Homeland Security immigration hotline at (866) 347-2423 to ask why Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is giving so many illegal aliens a free pass to protest in Washington today?" -- William Gheen.

"These marchers are advocating the overthrow of American laws, sovereignty, and the self-governance of American citizens who want our immigration laws adequately enforced, to be a significant deterrent to illegal immigration." -- William Gheen.

"The fact that so many illegal aliens can gather upon our American capitol, with massive corporate sponsorship, and without any fear that President Obama and Napolitano will enforce our existing immigration laws and it shows that our immigration system has been paralyzed by special interests." -- William Gheen.

"Americans need to quickly organize to oppose this new push for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty. We want Americans to sign up to support our Tea Party Against Amnesty events across America, to be held April 15-17. People can sign up to show their support and take action to stop AMNESTY at www.AgainstAmnesty.com" -- William Gheen.

We support NumbersUSA's "Stop Amnesty In Four Days" efforts found at www.NumbersUSA.com and encourage our supporters to watch the LIVE broadcast from Roy Beck today starting at 2pm.

"On Monday, we need to lead and organize the public backlash. Most Americans will be very angry and dismayed, when they learn so many illegal aliens and their supporters have gathered in Washington to overthrow our existing immigration laws. We want all of our national supporters on the phones to Congress on Monday!" -- William Gheen.

"Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty will lead to tens of millions of new illegal immigrants entering the country in the next decade due to America's lack of immigration enforcement credibility." -- William Gheen.

ALIPAC Ready To Harness Immigration March Backlash
Posted by ALIPAC on March 17th, 2010 at 10:32am

March 17, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
www.alipac.us (866) 703-0864

As Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty supporters plan to descend on Washington on March 21, 2010 with a promised 100,000 illegal aliens and their supporters, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC prepares to harness the resulting public backlash into civic action designed to "Stop Amnesty in 2010".

"May 1, 2006 was our biggest membership growth day ever was when the illegals and their supporters took to the streets by the millions. We are looking forward to a similar public backlash this year," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "It proves that America's immigration enforcement levels are not adequate, when so many illegal aliens can be organized by billion dollar interest groups to go and flagrantly march on our lawmakers in DC."

ALIPAC's 30,000 national supporters are being asked to support NumbersUSA's lobbying countermeasure plans this weekend, titled "S.T.O.P. Amnesty in 4 days". Citizen activists will schedule district office visits with lawmakers and flood DC offices with calls, e-mails, and faxes opposing Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty. More information about this effort can be found at www.NumbersUSA.org

ALIPAC is also rapidly organizing a counter protest to the March 21 Amnesty march on Washington, called March For America, by calling on Tea Party event organizers who welcome American citizens, signs, tables and organizations, and guest speakers who oppose Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty at their April 15 events, to sign up at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

"About 80% of Americans support enforcement, instead of this Comprehensive Amnesty they are pushing for in DC," said William Gheen. "This March 21 event is going to increase opposition the Health Care legislation by showing Americans that there is a plan to give illegal immigrants Amnesty by assuring they are covered in the health care bill."

A March 11 NBC / Wall Street Journal poll found 57% of Americans oppose the current health care bill in Washington. While these are strong numbers, opposition to taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens ranges in the 63 to 83% opposition range.

Congressman Luis Gutierrez's Comprehensive Amnesty demand march on Washington will increase public opposition to health care reform legislation, if Tea Party groups harness the backlash as well.

ALIPAC played a central strategic and activism role in defeating Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty and Dream Act Amnesty attempts in 2006 and 2007.

"We have beaten them before and we will defeat them again," said William Gheen. "We hope that more Americans fighting Washington on other issues will take notice of our past expertise in stopping out of touch lawmakers from making nation destroying mistakes."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC will be working around the clock this coming weekend by preparing for the march, conducting interviews with the media, and organizing countermeasures. For more information please visit www.alipac.us

What All The Screaming Really Means
Posted by William Gheen on March 16th, 2010 at 9:42am

What All The Screaming Really Means

March 13, 2010

by William Gheen
President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC
www.alipac.us

Late last night as I shut down my computer, I paused to reflect about the large volume of vitriol, attacks, distortions, screaming and yelling that I had to deal with this past week and it made me smile.

I was smiling, because I know what it means. Now, I want you to know so you can smile too.

You see, in the last week alone, our organization ALIPAC has been attacked by 6 different radical left blogs, 2 independent newspapers, one multi-million dollar George Soros funded group, John McCain's U.S. Senate campaign, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Our allies over at NumbersUSA are under bitter attack as well with similar ludicrous claims emanating from a host of well-financed pro-illegal immigration groups and blogs.

The Open Borders Lobby (OBL) is desperately throwing everything they can at ALIPAC and NumbersUSA including the kitchen sink. Since they have very little real political ammunition, they are getting creative.

Unfortunately for America, their creativity is expressed using the dark arts of deception and black propaganda, and it does make me shake my head to see their poisonous filth injected into what should be civil discourse and proper political debate in America. Such a shame that innocent Americans and members of the media who care about the truth might encounter these blatant lies that are being broadcasted.

While the tune and tempo changes, the song remains the same. All of the fake allegations beat the same old dead horse and worn out race card. They exclude the context and the contrary facts to float bits of reality twisted to deceive the public and claim that ALIPAC and NumbersUSA are the new KKK and Nazi Party.

And of interesting note is that these radical leftist groups like Wonk Room and some Indy Media (George Soros) operations, are offering advice to Republicans on how to deal with immigration issues and groups like ALIPAC. The amazing thing is that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Tea Party leader Dick Armey of Freedomworks appear to be accepting that advice and working in conjunction with the radical left attack blogs and papers!

I hope it says a lot to each of you that John McCain and Dick Armey are on the same page and political talking points as George Soros, Indy Media, Wonk Room, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the ADL and other radical leftist groups. It is common sense that you should never accept or follow advice from one's enemies. The fact that McCain and Armey are accepting advice from the radical left shows they are not truly opponents. These folks are all on the same team!

The radical left has been very happy with Armey in the last few weeks. Armey of Freedomworks has recently launched unprovoked attacks on both retired Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) and U.S Senate candidate J.D. Hayworth! Tancredo and Hayworth both oppose illegal immigration or any Amnesty for illegals. Armey and McCain support Amnesty.

In an interview with Charlie Rose, Armey launched an unprovoked attack on fellow conservative Tom Tancredo. He said "I tell you, I was for example, not really happy to see Tom Tancredo calling himself a tea party guy...He is harsh and uncharitable and mean-spirited attitude on the immigration issue."

Using the latest collection of polling data at ALIPAC, it appears that Dick Armey feels the vast majority of Americans are "uncharitable and mean-spirited" for opposing the Amnesty Armey supports. That is why Armey is trying to exclude any mention of opposing Obama's current Amnesty legislation during the Tea Party events on April 15.

That is why ALIPAC is working to include opposition to illegal immigration and amnesty in the April 15 events via www.againstamnesty.com

Dick Armey also launched an unprovoked attack on J.D. Hayworth. Hayworth is running against pro-Amnesty Sen. John McCain and Hayworth has the endorsement of both ALIPAC and Tax Day Tea Party (Armey's largest rival group in the Tea Party movement).

In a phone interview with the The Arizona Republic newspaper on Feb. 3 2010, this is what Dick Armey said about J.D. Hayworth. "It's hard for us to believe that J.D. Hayworth could mount a credible challenge to John McCain. Obviously, we'll watch the race. But J.D. had a fairly short, undistinguished congressional career with virtually no initiative on his part..."

Huh? Wait a minute! Aren't these guys supposed to all be Republicans and fellow Conservatives?

As a veteran campaign consultant who left my career behind to run ALIPAC when I discovered the severity of America's illegal immigration problem, I can tell you a known rule is that the candidate or group that is losing goes negative on a candidate or group that is winning.

Using the rules most campaigns live or die by, John McCain's weekly negative attacks on J.D. Hayworth are the kind of behavior one would expect from the candidate who is losing the race!

John McCain has a young man named Brian Rogers serving as his campaign researcher and press director who is launching most of the negative attacks on McCain's behalf. Rogers worked on McCain's failed Presidential campaign which proved when Republicans support Amnesty for illegals they lose to weak candidates like Obama.

The Huffington Post reported on 5/11/09 that after McCain's last failed campaign Brian Rogers became "The research director for Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection." Talk about bipartisanship! John McCain just rehired Al Gore's climate change research director.

Does that explain all of the erroneous claims and wild fiction coming out of John McCain's campaign? Perhaps after Hayworth defeats McCain, Brian Rogers can find a job working for Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi in their new careers after the voters throw them out, too!

Rogers' current "research methods" seem to include perusing rabid left wing websites and using his mouse to copy and paste text that he then quickly disseminates via national press release on behalf of John McCain. In his most recent attacks on Hayworth and ALIPAC, this has resulted in his distributing completely false and unverified information and associating the John McCain campaign with some pro-illegal immigration extremists like Dee Dee Blase. Way to go Brian! How do we send you a check and a thank you note?

The pro-Amnesty groups are also targeting Hayworth and ALIPAC because we have promoted the fact that Hayworth's run is holding back Obama's push for Amnesty legislation in the U.S. Senate. McCain is hiding behind the scenes, afraid to sign the bill as he had promised Obama and Sen. Schumer (D-NY).

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, McCain's agent and proxy, is the lone GOP Senator willing to sign the bill that would grant citizenship and voting rights to millions of illegal aliens, while raising legal immigration levels beyond their current historic levels.

J.D. Hayworth is the man stopping Amnesty in its tracks in 2010 and that is why ALIPAC is working to make the maximum donation to his campaign and asking others to give Hayworth all they can! http://www.jdforsenate.com/

And that brings us to the point of this article.

It is my great pleasure to inform you all that the reason John McCain, Dick Armey, George Soros's organizations and media publications, and a host of radical leftist bloggers are all going bonkers right now is because they are very afraid, desperate, and they sense that they are losing this battle!

In my extensive past political experiences, I have specialized in the art of bringing down corrupt entrenched political status quos.

While I have won many battles, I've lost my fair share as well.

Some of the wisdom passed down to me by my mentors, combined with my personal experiences tells me that... "If they are not screaming, we are not winning!"

If all was quiet right now and our opponents were truly confident, reserved, and calculative then we would be in bad shape. It would mean that our chances of overthrowing them were very low.

The behavior we are seeing with all the screaming, shouting and wild accusations is symptomatic of an established and entrenched political status quo on the verge of collapse or defeat!

Things are likely to get wilder and louder as we march to victory in November of 2010. Please remember my words to you that they will go down kicking screaming and crying, or they won't go down at all.

Before this is all over, you will probably see someone claim that William Gheen of ALIPAC, Roy Beck of NumbersUSA, and Chris Simcox of the Minutemen sacrifice goats and burn crosses at fund raisers for J.D. Hayworth, Tom Tancredo, and Sen. Jim Demint!

You will know that what they say about us says much more about themselves.

When you hear the screaming and wild accusations, just smile and know that it means victory is within our grasp and our enemies are attacking those they fear the most.

U.S. Rep. King: Amnesty bill is latest White House crisis
Posted by ALIPAC on March 16th, 2010 at 9:41am

In November 2008, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel famously said, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before." The Obama White House has followed this Rahmism to the tee.

From General Motors to Chrysler to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to AIG and three large investment banks, at times President Obama's domestic agenda appeared no different than Hugo Chavez's.

The White House pushed hard last spring for a cap and tax plan that would force American companies to comply with costly new energy regulations, thus giving companies in China, India and foreign countries without these rules a competitive advantage. Thankfully the American people spoke out and effectively killed this bill.

In town hall meetings and tea parties across the country, we've seen the American people have a similar reaction to the Obama Administration's attempt to pass a national health care bill. Created in the backrooms of Washington and flavored to please special interest groups and lobbyists, this health care bill became a toxic stew that the American people have rejected by the bowlful, the ladleful and the spoonful.

And now there are signs that the White House is moving on to a new target: comprehensive immigration reform. President Obama is meeting with Senators Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to work on a bill that would grant amnesty to the 12-20 million illegal aliens currently in the United States.

The American people flatly reject any form of amnesty. In 2006 and 2007, they jammed Capitol Hill phone lines with calls in opposition to a Senate bill that would have granted amnesty to illegal aliens. The national opinion on illegal immigration has not changed.

According to a recent Rasmussen national survey, 67% of U.S. voters say that illegal immigrants are a significant strain on the U.S. budget. Not only do they believe illegal aliens are a strain on our national budget, they also believe that the government welcomes this strain. Sixty-six percent of U.S. voters believe the availability of government money and services draw illegal immigrants and 56% say the policies and practices of the federal government encourage people to enter the United States illegally.

A recent example of this is the recent case of an illegal alien in Schuyler, Nebraska. In February, an illegal alien tried to turn herself in at the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office in nearby Omaha because she thought it would get her on the path to U.S. citizenship. She believed this was an acceptable road to citizenship because President Obama and liberals in Congress continue to promote and support amnesty in their public comments.

I agree with the Obama Administration that our current economic crisis warrants action on immigration policy. However, rather than grant amnesty, we need to crack down on illegal immigration to provide opportunities to American workers looking for jobs. There are 15.3 million unemployed American citizens while the Pew Hispanic Center reports that eight million illegal aliens hold American jobs.

I have introduced a bill called New IDEA (Illegal Deduction Elimination Act) that will immediately reduce America's unemployment and result in the hiring of millions of unemployed Americans. New IDEA will crack down on employers and illegal workers and level the playing field for law-abiding American employers and employees.

New IDEA will make E-Verify permanent and authorize its use on all current and prospective employees. E-Verify is an online government system that enables employers to determine whether an employee is eligible to work in the U.S. E-Verify is currently a voluntary program that by law can only be used on new hires.

Under New IDEA, employers that use E-Verify will have "safe harbor." By using E-Verify to check the legal status of new hires, employers will not be punished if they mistakenly hire an illegal alien. Employers who fail to check their employees via E-Verify or ignore proof of an employee's illegal status will be subject to wage and benefit taxation, including interest and penalty on past taxes.

We cannot allow the Obama Administration to use our current economic crisis to dramatically reshape America to fit its liberal political agenda. The economic crisis does present opportunities for reform, but we need common-sense solutions that protect America's sovereignty and put Americans back to work.

Immigration law needs to be designed to enhance the economic, social and cultural well-being of the Unites States. We must reject amnesty, pass New IDEA, get Americans back to work and dramatically reduce the strain of illegal immigration on our economy.

Tea Party Against Amnesty Protests Announced for April 15, 2010

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is announcing protests across America to be conducted on April 15, 2010 in conjunction with existing Tea Party events in protest of the current push for Amnesty legislation in Washington and as a counter measure to the 'March For America' marches held nationally on March 21 by bill sponsor Luis Gutierrez.

"Despite the fake polls, bought and paid for by the Open Borders Lobby groups, the truth remains that 80% of Americans oppose Amnesty for illegal aliens and turning millions of illegals into voters would have a catastrophic effect on America," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "We will be sending tens of thousands of people out to support Tea Party events on April 15 to properly represent public opposition to illegal immigration and Amnesty for illegals."

ALIPAC helped build the initial success of Tea Party events in April and July 2009 by leading a coalition of over 20 immigration enforcement groups behind the effort.

On November 14, 2009, ALIPAC directed "Tea Parties Against Amnesty" which rapidly organized protests in over 50 American cities and towns successfully pushing Congressman Luis Gutierrez back from his original dates to file his Amnesty bill.

"This time we have let Gutierrez make his move first," said William Gheen. "We are moving into position to channel the massive public backlash against Gutierrez's 'Marches for America', which are designed to pass Amnesty for illegal aliens. Our counter protests will be in the Tea Party events on April 15."

ALIPAC is revamping and re releasing the website
www.AgainstAmnesty.com, which is designed to coordinate the April 15 events. The website was used for the first round of Tea Party Against Amnesty events in 2009.

Tea Party movement supporters who oppose illegal immigration and amnesty for illegals are being encouraged to sign up and show their support.

Any Tea Party event on April 15 that welcomes Americans who oppose illegal immigration and the current Amnesty legislation push in Washington will be listed on the maps. Tea Party supporters are encouraged to arrange candidates, members of congress, and group leaders to speak out at the April 15 events, set up tables, bring signs, and distribute literature opposing illegal immigration and the Amnesty bills.

Rapid Response Tea Parties Against Amnesty Bring Unity

November 17, 2009

by William Gheen
President, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC ALIPAC

Our Tea Parties Against Amnesty outmatched the opposition with less funds and media support, we have the momentum, and opposition attempts to thwart our events have backfired on them!

After President Obama's key ally Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) announced he would file Amnesty legislation this year to turn millions of illegal aliens in America into voters, immigration enforcement groups such as ALIPAC and NumbersUSA, and Rightmarch sprang into action.

While our strategies and efforts played a key role in defeating Amnesty legislation in 2006 and 2007, and we have dominated the pro-illegal immigration factions in almost every state legislation battle in 2008 and 2009, we know that it will take something truly historic for the American public to triumph over Amnesty this time.

So we took a gamble and called for Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration to form quickly across the nation. With less than 30 days to prepare, the results were dramatic and encouraging.

In less than 30 days, we had protests and events arranged in more than 50 towns and cities across America!

With less than a month to respond and only a few thousand dollars to spend, we were able to match or exceed Congressman Luis Guitierrez's multi-million dollar Amnesty legislation launch party that took place in only 20 cities on October 13 of this year after several months of planning time! We exceeded his number of events and exceeded the number of Americans participating as well!
We outmatched Guitierez and his faction on the ground with a complete absence of national media coverage on our side. His events were promoted heavily by Spanish language national news sources like Telemundo and Univision backed by hundreds of spanish language radio stations.

We were outspent over 100 to 1, had less time, had less media support in advance and we still exceeded their efforts and that is because 80% of America's legal citizens side with us!

Since our November 14 events were just warm-ups for larger operations in the spring, we feel our current momentum and recent successes will manifest as much larger operations that will dwarf our opposition.

Some events were small with only 10-20 people, while others had hundreds of attendees. Somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 people turned out for these rapid response Tea Parties, despite the fact that there was no national press coverage and very limited local coverage of the events beforehand!

We were able to organize more than 50 cities and towns with thousands of people through Internet communications, social media sources like Facebook and Twitter, and the help of existing Immigration Enforcement, Tea Party, and 9/12 groups, leaders, and activists!

Our initial efforts are a great prelude to much larger operations in the spring of 2010, when this push for unpopular Amnesty legislation will be the top issue in America. We believe we can have much larger crowds and over 100 cities organized by then.

Our events held near traffic were warmly greeted with honking horns and thumbs up from the vast majority of motorists responding. Sure, the illegal alien supporters scowled and engaged in lewd gestures but it was clear they only represent a very small fraction of the public who surrounds us.

We had talk radio show hosts, live bands, organization leaders and many candidates for public office, including candidates for Congress speaking at almost half of our events.

While we have a lot of pro-amnesty opposition to us in the 'old guard' media who refuses to tell people about such events before they happen, our press coverage after these events is excellent.

Our message got out loud and clear on FOX News on Sunday, Nov. 15, and as you can see by the collection of articles on our homepage at alipac.us, our Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration generated a lot of press across America. We encourage all of you to read these articles at ALIPAC to see how we bypassed the biased news wire services such as the Associated Press and Reuters and delivered our message to millions of Americans despite their information blockades.

We spoke out and we were heard, and the results are that a sustained wave of new supporters are coming in to ALIPAC as people rush to sign up for our e-mail alerts, and our Facebook and Twitter accounts, which are now the strongest social media accounts on either side of the immigration debate!

Getting people to rapidly join the ALIPAC and NumbersUSA e-mail alerts systems remains one of our top priorities as these two groups will be spearheading the effort to stop Amnesty legislation in Washington, D.C. in 2009 and 2010. Please make sure you are on those lists and that everyone you know is as well. We need your support for the fight against Amnesty that is upon us.

Another part of our mission has been to push Luis Gutierrez and Obama back on their time line. Obama and the Senate are already retreating to 2010, but Gutierrez had threatened to file Amnesty legislation before the end of October. Thanks to your efforts, we have pushed him into retreat and his latest threat is to file the Amnesty bill before the end of November.

Gutierrez is having a national conference call with his activists base tomorrow, which is Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009. We will know soon if our Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration are victorious in pushing him back to file his bill in 2010 as we have hoped!

We are trying to push the Gutierrez / Obama Amnesty legislation timeline back into 2010, because we know we will have a better chance of defeating this legislation for a fourth time in 2010 because it is an election year.

At most of the 50+ Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration across America, we had someone read a long list of polls and surveys that show exactly where America stands on this issue. This series of polls discredit the handful of designer polls that lie to lawmakers and the public claiming that a majority of Americans favor a path to citizenship for illegals. Our numerous polls show clearly that 80% oppose any path to citizenship, taxpayer benefits, or special legislation to benefit illegal aliens.

POLLS AND SURVEY LIST
http://www.alipac.us/polls_surveys_opinions.html

Incumbent members of Congress will become very hesitant to proceed with the Gutierrez / Obama Amnesty legislation especially after watching New Jersey Governor Corzine go down in flames after pushing similar legislation during his election year!

Our Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration are fresh on the minds of the public and part of our strategy is to gather up the resulting backlash against this new push for Amnesty.

President Obama and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, instead of looking for more traitors in the U.S. government like the Fort Hood infiltrator, are responding to us already and released pro-Amnesty statements less than 48 hours prior to our Tea Parties Against Amnesty.

With almost 80% of Americans on our side against this legislation, we are in a perfect position to unify Americans. Our Unity will go beyond unifying immigration enforcement groups, Tea Party groups, and 9/12 groups. Our plans are to unify Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Our plans are to unify blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians and Native Americans. We will unify as the AMERICANS! And those pushing this nationally destructive, ridiculous Amnesty legislation are TRAITORS against We The People of the United States!

Of course these traitors will try to divide us any way they can. They will screech false charges of racism; they will try to pit Republican against Democrat and Democrat against Republican. They will attack with their fleet of biased bloggers and reporters, but we can turn those attacks against them with ease.

The more these pro-Amnesty faction members attack us and attempt to falsely malign us, the stronger we become due to the combination of how strongly the public aligns with our side.

While more than 95% of our Tea Parties proceeded without serious problems, there were flash points in Phoenix, St. Paul, and Ft. Lauderdale.

Not only did we outnumber Luis Gutierrez's protests in D.C., but the fervent calls among illegal alien supporting groups yielded less than 200 counter protesters up against our 3-5,000 Tea Party attendees.

In Phoenix, some Neo Nazis tried to show up despite the fact we told them they were unwelcome at our events and were pushed back by our supporters, but not before one of them shoved a veteran and senior citizen to the ground. We have made it clear that radical racist groups like the National Council of La Raza, MS-13, the KKK, Stormfront, Neo Nazis, MALDEF, and LULAC are no to be tolerated at our events and we made that clear in Phoenix.

We are looking into this incident to determine if these caricatured racist clowns with a rebel flag and picture of Hitler on a towel were actually racists dumb enough to assist the pro-Amnesty crowd or if they saboteurs on the payroll of the pro-Amnesty George Soros groups.

In St. Paul, anarchists got in the middle of our Tea Party on the state capital steps and harassed people. One was even able to lie his way to the podium, where he lambasted Americans of European decent and claimed they were illegals, responsible for mass violence and genocide, and should be deported.

The worst incident took place in Fort Lauderdale where communist supporters of the Obama / Gutierrez Amnesty bill that belong to a group called ANSWER FL (put in acronym for ANSWER) rallied a small group with an email that pronounced "we are calling on all people to come out tomorrow, to organize a militant confrontation with the so-called "tea baggers." Beating back these forces will require us to organize together, take the streets, fight the racists wherever they show their faces and drive them out of every community.""

The pro-Amnesty ANSWER-FL group violently attacked two Tea Party protesters that were simply trying to document their signs which bore the image of notorious communist and murderer Che Guiverra.

The video of this incident has been released by ALIPAC and is going viral on the Internet today. Pro-Amnesty supporters are continuing their assault on civil rights by making death threats and derogatory comments towards Americans of European descent beneath the video.

VIDEO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekW3HmlnYS4

These aggressive attempts to violate the civil rights of Americans are backfiring on the pro-Amnesty crowd today. In fact, these antics may have just blown any chance they had of passing Amnesty in 2009 or 2010. While 80% of Americans reject Amnesty, a higher percentage reject communists, fascists, and those that use lies, aggression, and violence to try and impose their political will over others.

The fact that so few tried to oppose us during these events and the fact we are only being challenged by radicals on both ends of the spectrum speaks to the fact that our movement is truly a movement of mainstream America.

We now have street level protest folks working hand in hand with seasoned citizen lobbyist and those that have been calling, faxing, and e-mailing congress about illegal immigration now have a new wave of energized supporters from the Tea Party and 9/12 ranks!

Many of the 9/12 and Tea Party supporters are happy to now be working with immigration enforcement groups that have substantial track records passing and defeating legislation. through citizen activism. It is our hope that the new fusion of energy with the groups that have the experience and strategies to successfully stop destructive legislation will be a winning combination.

We have to take our hats off and salute the fine organizers and concerned citizens that put these events together and often braved the elements to attend. Our people in Anchorage stood out in ten degree weather. Our fellow patriots gathering in many cities braved pouring rain and snow! While there were some rough edges in some places, we are proud of the dedication and hard work everyone put into these events. It was a learning experience and we can do even better in the next round!

Now we turn all of our attentions to lobbying members of Congress and gearing up with candidates for Congress in the 2010 elections.

There is a full fledged peaceful political revolution brewing in America that will cost large numbers of politicians their jobs next year.

We must continue and intensify our efforts to unify the four out five Americans that oppose Amnesty and other unpopular legislation into a popular political uprising that will truly bring CHANGE to America by placing We The People back in control of Washington, DC and place those that have betrayed the American public out in the streets or into prison where they belong.

Please review all of the press coverage coming in from around the nation about our events and we will have pictures and videos from our many great events on November 14, 2009 assembled for you soon.

Tea partiers brutally beaten by pro-amnesty group
Posted by ALIPAC on November 19th, 2009 at 11:43am

Shocking! Illegal immigration protesters attacked, pushed into traffic

Che Guevara supporters with a radical pro-amnesty coalition viciously attacked and bludgeoned tea party protesters at a Florida anti-illegal immigration rally, including a 62-year-old man who was beaten and kicked in the face.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, called for "Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration" to form quickly across the nation on Nov. 14. In less than 30 days, protests were scheduled for more than 50 towns and cities.

But two Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., tea party protesters were brutally beaten by pro-amnesty activists on the day of the nationwide rally as they attempted to film Florida's Act Now to Stop War and End Racism Coalition, or ANSWER, counter-protest.

ANSWER members carried Che Guevara signs and other black and yellow placards that stated "Full rights for all immigrants." They shouted, "Amnesty yes, racists no!"

As the two men attempted to film the protest, a ANSWER member in a black tanktop and blue jeans lunged after one of the cameramen and beat him with a sign, pushing him into traffic. Another ANSWER member in a white T-shirt attacked the same cameraman while the victim defended himself with what appears to be a camera tripod.

A female tea party protester began screaming as Dave Caulkett of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement and the initial ANSWER attacker fought in the middle of the street.

The following is a video of the attack released by ALIPAC:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekW3HmlnYS4

"Supporters of President Obama's Amnesty plans attacked Tea Party Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration demonstrators in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. One of the men attacked is 62 years old," ALIPAC reported. "Dave Caulkett of FLIMEN (Floridians for Immigration Enforcement) is assaulted and then kicked in the face while he is down. The other cameraman from the tea party is hit with several signs."

ALIPAC revealed that ANSWER Florida sent out an e-mail invitation urging members to join its "protest to shut down racist anti-'amnesty' rally" in Ft. Lauderdale prior to the event. ANSWER's letter stated the following:

The ANSWER Coalition is calling on all its members, allies, and friends to join us tomorrow to confront and shut down the racist "Anti-Amnesty Tea Party" in Ft. Lauderdale.

The "Anti-Amnesty" rallies being held across the country tomorrow have been initiated by fascist, white supremacist organizations that include the Minutemen and the so-called Americans for Legal Immigration.

Recent months have shown a significant rise in extreme-right activity with hate crimes and attacks on immigrants skyrocketing. White supremacist and fascist organizations have boasted rapid growth since the onset of the economic crisis. The new administration has continued the government's anti-immigrant policies with "desktop raids"-the liberal response to the fascist like workplace raids of the Bush years.

Racism is like anything else in this world: in order to make it fall, you must smash it! That is why we are calling on all people to come out tomorrow, to organize a militant confrontation with the so-called "tea baggers." Beating back these forces will require us to organize together, take the streets, fight the racists wherever they show their faces and drive them out of every community. …

We are building a movement that will beat back racism so that working people of all nationalities can unite and fight against our one, shared enemy: capitalism. Amnesty, full rights for ALL immigrants, is a demand that should be raised not just by the immigrant communities, but by every working class community in our struggle to solve this crisis by our own means.

Join us tomorrow, and join us in building the movement against racism and capitalist exploitation!

As WND reported earlier, ALIPAC Chief William Gheen said his group had been calling for a "peaceful, political revolution and uprising in America."

All members of the American media are reminded that there will be protests and rallies called Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration held in over 53 cities and towns tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

These events are designed to unify Americans of all races, faiths, and political parties who represent the 78% found in a recent Pulse Opinion poll who oppose any path to citizenship or any form of Amnesty for illegal immigrants currently in the United States.

We request that members of the media inform your audience prior to these events.

New details are being added to our listing of these events online each hour.

Event times, locations, details, and organizer contact information can be found on our EVENT LOCATIONS page at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

Any members of racist groups like MS-13, The Brown Berets, KKK, Aztlan Separatists, Neo Nazis, National Council of La Raza, MALDEF, LULAC, or Media Matters will be removed from our protest locations by police if detected.

We have organized all these towns and cities in less than one month to oppose Rep. Luis Gutierrez's (D-Ill.) plans to file an Amnesty bill before the end of November.

Several pro-Amnesty and pro-illegal alien groups plan to counterprotest our peaceful, lawful and constitutionally protected assemblies.

Many of our events will have guest speakers who are group leaders, candidates for public office, elected officials, and concerned citizens. Others will be sign and flag holding street level protests.

Current cities and towns organized include Snead, AL
, Anchorage, AK, Phoenix, AZ, Big Bear Lake, CA, Los Banos, CA, Modesto, CA, Pasadena, CA, Redding, CA, Riverside, CA, Sacramento, CA, Salinas, CA, San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA, Santa Maria, CA, Denver, CO, Durango, CO, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Lake City, FL, Miama, FL, Sebring, FL, Titusville, FL, Boise, ID, Idaho Falls, ID, Post Falls, ID, Chicago, IL, Decatur, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Iowa City, IA, Metairie, LA, Boston, MA, Wilbraham, MA, Detroit, MI, Waterford, MI, St. Paul, MN, Grand Island, NE, Omaha, NE, Las Vegas, NV, Dumont, NJ, New York, NY, Syracuse, NY, Raleigh, NC, Columbus, OH, Maria Stein, OH, Painesville, OH, McAlester, OK, Hazleton, PA, Valley Forge, PA, Columbia, SC, Myrtle Beach, SC, Austin, TX, Fort Worth, TX, Alexandria, VA, Yakima, WA,

www.alipac.us and www.againstamnesty.com
WilliamG@alipac.us (866) 703-0864

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is calling on all talk radio show hosts in America that value their freedom of speech and value the will of over 78% of their listeners that oppose any form of Amnesty or path to citizenship for illegal aliens to take immediate action.

Talk show hosts are asked to please report the time, dates, locations, and details of the Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration being held this Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 in more than 50 cities and towns across America to push back Amnesty legislation. Full event details at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

Talk show hosts are also asked to consider interviewing organizers and organization leaders regarding these historic events on November 14.

Finally, we request that talk show hosts contact the event organizers closest to them who are hosting these Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration and offer to speak out against illegal immigration as a guest speaker at these events.

We already have many fine talk radio show hosts reporting, attending, and speaking at these events but we need many more.

The Internet component of the new media is in full swing notifying the public about these events. The Main Stream Media has yet to respond. Therefore, we are requesting more reporting and support from all talk radio show hosts that are loyal to American citizens.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC stands ready to provide you with more information, interviews, or assistance upon request.

Three Days Left To Do The Very Best We Can!
Posted by ALIPAC on November 11th, 2009 at 12:57pm

Friends of ALIPAC,

We are moving the launch of our next lobby campaign against Amnesty back to Monday so we can focus all of our attention on this Sat. Nov. 14. We feel this will be a better time strategically and we want to organize the new support coming in from the Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration into the new lobbying campaign!

Thanks to your efforts, our pro-illegal alien opposition is already falling back! President Obama and the pro-Amnesty U.S. Senators have already fallen back into the 2010 timetable for their legislation to grant Amnesty and voting rights to 15 million illegal aliens.

In the U.S Congress, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has fallen back past his earlier promise to file an Amnesty bill by the end of October. With the news reports coming out of D.C., it appears that House Democrats in swing districts are begging their leadership NOT TO PURSUE this legislation at all.

Gutierrez's latest move is to plan a big announcement AFTER our protests. He has notified his illegal alien child army of volunteers to tune in for a big meeting or press conference on November 19! Traitor Gutierrez knows that each day he falls back the chances that Americans will defeat his Amnesty plans go up!

LET'S KEEP PUSHING THEM BACK!

We only have three days left to do our very best with the historic protests against Amnesty and illegal immigration set up across America for you on Saturday, Nov. 14.

ALIPAC supporters told us they wanted these and we have delivered!

Now it is up to you to make this effort a success.

Please consider the following steps.

1. Locate the Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration (TPAA) protest nearest you and make plans to attend this Nov. 14. Full details of each event are at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

2. Check the details at www.againstamnesty.com as some locations and times may shift. We plan to provide you with more details on each event soon. Some events are simple sign and flag gatherings and others have guest speakers.

3. Use your e-mail contact lists, the "Tell Others Feature", and your Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace accounts to spread the word about www.AgainstAmnesty.com and get people to sign up. Pay close attention to the number of people signed up on the site. WE WANT THAT NUMBER ABOVE 5,000 by SAT. NOV. 14. It is up to you to decide if we make that goal.

4. Try to persuade friends, family members, and neighbors to accompany you to the nearest TPAA.

5. The most important thing is to be physically present at one of these events. If you can, bring American flags, state flags, or other appropriate flags and signs. If you are looking for sign ideas and online resources to help you print signs, please visit this link where our activists will be gathering and updating sign suggestions for you over the next three days...
http://www.alipac.us/ftopict-177663.html

6. Get the word out on talk radio by calling into shows. ALIPAC is trying hard to get national media exposure for these historic events but despite numerous press releases, no response yet from the MSM. If you have the time, please contact these sources with a note asking them to please COVER THE TEA PARTIES AGAINST AMNESTY AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION BEFORE NOV. 14. Perhaps if a few hundred of you contact them they will listen and respond?

7. Please take cameras and video recorders to these events. We will form a collection point online where you can share your pictures and videos with others around the nation.

8. Please thank the event organizers when you go. You can reach them to offer your support beforehand using CONTACT ORGANIZER on the Events Location page at www.AgainstAmnesty.com These people are working hard to provide these events for you and they deserve a lot of thanks and support.

9. Remember that some of these events will be well attended and some will be smaller gatherings. Please make sure everyone knows that these November 14, 2009 events are a prelude to much larger scale operations in the Spring of 2010, when this will be the top topic of discussion in America. Please make sure everyone you see at these events knows they need to sign up to support ALIPAC and NumbersUSA and the other supporting groups to help us lobby against Amnesty and illegal immigration NEXT WEEK! We will try to get a flier together to help you do this.

10. Our Tea Parties Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration are for all Americans of every race, political party, and faith that make up the 80% of Americans who oppose Amnesty. Any racist or radical groups such as the National Council of La Raza (The Race), MS-13, the KKK, Neo Nazis, MALDEF, LULAC, or Brown Berets are NOT WELCOME. If you see any person, literature, or signs that are indicative of these racist groups, notify the event organizer so they can be removed quickly by police.

Below is our most current list of events, times, and location. Please get everyone you can signed up at www.AgainstAmnesty.com and check back there often for the latest updates, news, and event information.

This Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 promises to be an historic day as Americans of every race, political party, and religious denomination unify behind Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration that have quickly formed in over 50 cities in reaction to the news Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) plans to introduce Comprehensive Amnesty legislation by the end of November.

"The Obama administration and the U.S. Congress need to cease and desist advocacy for any form of Amnesty legislation, since any path to citizenship for illegals is opposed by over 78% of Americans," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Too many Americans are aware that four out of five Americans oppose this, that there are Global business interests pushing this unpopular plan, and that the Government is intentionally under-enforcing our existing immigration laws."

The Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration are being organized by Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) and the events are organized at the website www.AgainstAmnesty.com. Citizens can show their support and demand at the website by registering to become supporters or event organizers. The website also provides event locations and times accompanied by maps.

Protesters are encouraged to attend, to show their support and to bring American flags and signs opposing Amnesty for illegal immigrants if possible. In some locations, motorists will be encouraged to honk, if they oppose Amnesty. ALIPAC has rapidly assembled over 50 events but is planning larger operations for the Spring of 2010, when the Gutierrez / Obama Amnesty legislation should be the top story in the nation.

"This is our warm-up run to the larger Amnesty battle in the Spring," said Gheen. "We are organizing citizens to call and e-mail Congress again like we did in 2007, when we shut down the Capitol phone systems. We are also organizing folks in the streets with Tea Parties and organizing behind campaigns for Congress. This is no longer just an issue, this is a political revolution brewing in the heart of the United States."

All citizens that believe the U.S. Constitution and popular existing immigration laws of the United States should be enforced, INSTEAD of granting Amnesty, are encouraged to tell others, show their support, and attend the over 50 events detailed at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

Currently there are events planned in Yakima, WA, Sterling, VA, Alexandria, VA, Fort Worth, TX, Austin, TX, Columbia, SC, Hazleton, PA, Valley Forge, PA, McAlester, OK, Maria Stein, OH, Columbus, OH, Painesville, OH, Syracuse, NY, New York, NY, Las Vegas, NV, Dumont, NJ, Grand Island, NE, Omaha, NE , Raleigh, NC, St. Paul, MN, Waterford, MI, Detroit, MI, Wilbraham, MA, Metairie, LA, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Post Falls, ID, Idaho Falls, ID, Boise, ID, Iowa City, IA, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sebring, FL, Lake City, FL, Durango, CO, Denver, CO, Modesto, CA, Pasadena, CA, Los Banos, CA, San Francisco, CA, Santa Maria, CA, San Diego, CA, Sacramento, CA, Salinas, CA, Redding, CA, Riverside, CA, Big Bear Lake, CA, Phoenix, AZ Snead, AL, Anchorage, AK

Some events will be simple protests of those gathering with signs and flags. Others will include live music and speeches by candidates, group leaders, and elected officials. Illegal immigration issue threatens healthcare vote
Posted by ALIPAC on November 6th, 2009 at 12:35pm

The illegal immigration issue is emerging as the biggest threat to passing healthcare reform in the House.

Congressional Hispanics have threatened to vote against the bill because of a last-minute threat from within the Democratic Caucus to bolster the House bill’s immigration restrictions to match those included in the Senate Finance bill.

Subjects: Illegal Immigration, healthcare reform, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, President Obama, vulnerable Democrats

And they’re also fighting President Barack Obama, the original sponsor of the language prohibiting illegal immigrants from accessing the public health insurance exchange.

On Thursday afternoon, four leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) traveled to the White House to meet with Obama on behalf of the entire group.

Officially, the purpose of their meeting was to talk to the president about healthcare.

But CHC members, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the group’s message was clear: Drop your insistence on preventing illegal immigrants from accessing the public exchange, even if their only option is to pay for insurance plans entirely out of their own pockets.

A public exchange is a nationwide pool of health insurance providers that would facilitate access to coverage for individuals and employers.

Obama has promoted the concept as a key component of healthcare reform.

The House healthcare bill already bars illegal immigrants from enrolling in the public option and from receiving subsidies for health plans.

But if the final Senate healthcare bill contains the exchange-prohibition provision that’s in the Finance Committee bill, the provision could also be included in a conference report.

And CHC members have said publicly that they would have a very difficult time voting for any healthcare bill that contained such a provision.

“I am concerned about the manner in which the exchange has been characterized, and I understand the politics of it,” said CHC Vice Chairman Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D-Texas), “but it is very bad policy.”

Gonzalez was at the White House meeting along with CHC Chairwoman Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-N.Y.), Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.) and Democratic Caucus Vice Chairman Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.), the only Hispanic member of the Democratic leadership.

Vulnerable Democrats may push for language that would match the Senate provision on preventing illegal immigrants from accessing a public exchange.

And while there was no identifiable sponsor or group of members pushing for that last-minute change, a Democrat with direct knowledge of the process for guiding the healthcare bill through the Rules Committee described it as a distinct possibility.

If House leaders determined that they needed to insert the Senate immigration language in order to pass the healthcare bill, the Senate language would be included in a “self-executing” rule allowing for consideration of the healthcare bill containing the change.

Should that occur, members of the CHC have said they will vote against the rule. Assuming all Republicans vote no, a revolt of any more than 37 Democrats would torpedo the legislation. The CHC has 27 members.

But a significant number of Democrats — largely from conservative districts — may demand such a change if they believe Obama and Senate Democrats will stand firm on their support for stronger language than the current House language.

“I have to be able to reassure my constituents that those who are here illegally cannot avail themselves of the provisions provided in this healthcare bill,” said freshman Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly (Va.). “The Senate language may tighten that up a bit.”

Connolly said he wouldn’t necessarily need the Senate language to allay his concerns, but he said that he can’t make that determination until he sees the final language of the bill.

“You’ve got real competing interests among Democrats in the House over abortion and immigration, and I believe the immigration issue is the more significant of the two,” he said.

Dems get health ready for House vote

Jennifer Haberkorn THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Democratic House leaders are pushing for a final vote on a health care reform bill scheduled for Saturday with last-minute negotiations continuing over taxpayer-funded abortions and other contentious issues.

Leaders and at least a handful of pro-life Democrats appear to be close to a deal on language that would assure them that taxpayers would not have to pay for abortions, which is the most significant hurdle to final passage.

The 10-year, $1.2 trillion House bill would establish a government-run insurance plan, require individuals to obtain insurance and employers to provide it, and provide tax subsidies to help the poor and middle class obtain coverage.

Final passage in the House would put President Obama's goal of reforming the health care system within sight of the White House. From there, the Senate would have to pass its bill and then the two pieces of legislation would have to be combined, though neither is expected to be easy tasks.

It's not clear yet whether Democrats have the votes required to pass the bill. House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer, when asked whether he has the 218 votes, simply said, "We'll see."

Democrats plan to make final changes to their bill - expected to include the abortion compromise - by Friday, when the Rules Committee meets. Chairman Louise M. Slaughter, New York Democrat, said there will likely be five hours of floor debate and no floor amendments accepted in a rare Saturday session in the House.

During that time, Republicans hope to be able to offer their reform plan, released Wednesday, which would allow insurance companies to sell across state lines, establish high-risk insurance pools and limit medical malpractice awards. They rebuffed the idea that Democrats would try to pass the bill with one day of formal debate.

"The idea that Congress would enact a government takeover of one-sixth of the American economy and debate it for half a working day would be deeply offensive to the millions of Americans would cherish limited government," said Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana, chairman of the House Republican Conference.

There are expected to be conservative Democrats who vote against the bill over worry that it adds to the debt, allows for taxpayer-funded abortion or provides illegal immigrants access to the insurance exchanges.

A group of about 40 pro-life Democrats had threatened to prevent the House from starting debate on the health care reform bill if the legislation would allow taxpayer-funded abortions. There are enough members to successfully do so.

But the compromise, drafted by Rep. Brad Ellsworth, Indiana Democrat, is likely to appease at least the few required to get enough votes to start debate. Ms. Slaughter said Wednesday that the plan from Mr. Ellsworth would be likely be accepted.

Mr. Ellsworth's plan would prevent any taxpayer dollars from funding payment for an abortion, he said, requiring any payment for the procedure to circumvent the Treasury Department entirely.

The Congressional Research Service issued a legal advisory that the compromise would uphold the status quo - that taxpayer funds don't go toward abortions, which is what nearly all parties say they're trying to do.

"We don't want the abortion issue to be the issue that derails health care reform," said Rep. Jim Langevin, Rhode Island Democrat.

But the plan doesn't go far enough for the National Right to Life Committee, which called it a "money-laundering scam," signaling that it may not appease all 40 members.

Immigration also threatens to stall health care reform. In recent days, groups that support a crackdown on illegal immigration have warned that the House bill would allow people in the country illegally to get access to the insurance exchanges or other government benefits provided by the bill.

"If powerful special interests prevail, the final version of a health care reform bill will have been used to transform immigration policies as aggressively as it was used to transform the U.S. health care system itself," said Dan Stein, president of Federation for American Immigration Reform.

But at least one supporter of expanding health insurance access to illegal immigrants said Wednesday that preventing access would threaten his support.

"I would find it extremely difficult to vote for any measure that denies undocumented workers health care," said Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat. He said undocumented workers should be allowed access to insurance coverage provided that they get no tax assistance.

Amnesty to be 'coup de grace' to United States?
'We are calling for a peaceful, political revolution in America now'

Posted: November 03, 2009
10:31 pm Eastern

By Bob Unruh
WorldNetDaily

The chief of an organization that has been fighting plans to grant amnesty to millions, perhaps tens of millions of illegal aliens now within the United States, has launched a campaign for a series of "tea parties" on Nov. 14 to let Washington know what Americans want.

"I'm not going to mince words," said William Gheen, chief of Americans for Legal Immigration, "We are calling for a peaceful, political revolution and uprising in America now."

Dozens of events already have been planned, but more are needed, Gheen said today. That's simply because while President George W. Bush's plans for immigration reform and amnesty for illegals were bad, under President Obama the situation is deteriorating quickly.

"The globalists that are behind illegal immigration intend to replace heartland Americans with new voters who previously were illegal aliens," Gheen told WND. "If that occurs it won't matter what your issue is, they will control that voting population, effectively destroying the conservative base of the Republican Party … There will be no peaceful or political hope for future immigration enforcement of the borders
of the United States.

"It will be a country that no longer exists," he said. "It will be the coup de grace."

Under the banner of the AgainstAmnesty.com website, where details about the times and locations are being listed, events are being planned nationwide. Already plans have been confirmed for:

* Phoenix
, Ariz., 10 a.m. on the state Capitol grounds at 1700 W. Washington St.

* Los Banos, Calif., 11 a.m. at 903 East Pacheco Blvd. near Los Banos County Park

* Pasadena, Calif., 10 a.m. at 100 N. Garfield Ave.

* San Diego, Calif., 11 a.mm. at 100 Tuna Lane "Tuna Harbor Park"

* San Francisco, Calif., 11 a.m. at Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39

* Santa Maria, Calif., 11 a.m. at Bradley Rd & Betteravia Rd.

* Denver, Colo., 10 a.m. at 500 E. Colfax Ave.

* Durango, Colo., 1 p.m. at 149 S. Camino Del Rio Santarita Park

* Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 1 p.m. at N. Federal Highway and E. Oakland Park Blvd.

* Sebring, Fla. 1 p.m. at 213 Circle Park Dr.

* Post Falls, Idaho, noon at 5100 Riverbend Ave. Greyhound Park & Event Center

* Chicago, 1 p.m. at Michigan Ave. and Madison Ave.

* Wilbraham, Mass., 8 a.m. at 2001 Boston Road

* Waterford, Mich., noon at 5100 Dixie Highway

* St. Paul, Minn., 11 a.m. at 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

* Dumont, N.J., 8 a.m. at Columbia Ave. and Washington St.

* Raleigh, N.C., 2 p.m. a 16 W. Jones St.

* Columbus, Ohio, 10 a.m. at 1 Capital Square

* Maria Stein, Ohio, 2 p.m. at 8608 State Rt. 119

* McAlester, Okla., noon at 500 S. George Nigh Expressway

* Hazleton, Pa., 2 p.m. at 40 N. Church St.

* Fort Worth, Texas, noon at 100 East Weatherford St.

* Alexandria, Va., 11 a.m. at 333 N. Fairfax St.

* Sterling, Va., 1 p.m. at 21660 N. Sterling Blvd.

The organization said that while most polls show a supermajority of Americans "of every race and political affiliation oppose any form of amnesty or path to citizenship for illegal aliens," Obama already is moving that direction.

"Like Bush, he is creating amnesty without congressional or public approval by suspending enforcement of most of our existing immigration laws
! The latest news reports indicate Obama has recently stopped work site enforcement, stopped local police from enforcing immigration laws, stopped Arizona Sheriff [Joe] Arpaio from arresting illegal aliens, and now intends to release illegal aliens in custody from detention centers as a prelude to his comprehensive amnesty.

"We find his actions to be authoritarian, dictatorial, and a violation of both the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Constitution and his own oath of office. Obama is depriving all Americans of representation for those who are taxed, and is violating public trust at a time we need every job and taxpayer resource for Americans!" the group's website says.

"It is time for Americans to stand together in unity to insist that citizen control of our government be re-established and that the requirements of the U.S. Constitution, which empowers Congress to create uniform immigration laws and the president to enforce them, be respected!"

Gheen told WND there's an urgency because U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez has announced plans to introduce an amnesty bill to Congress by the end of this month. He said while it may not be address immediately, by spring of 2010, it's expected to be on an Obama fast-track much like the health care takeover proposal now.

Gheen said his organization has worked with lobbying, telephone calls and e-mails in the past. But the situation now, "is getting so unstable that we feel its important for people to get in the streets and organize in a civil fashion."

Last Call for Organizers For Nov. 14 Tea Parties Vs. Amnesty
Posted by ALIPAC on November 3rd, 2009 at 11:30am

Friends of ALIPAC,

This is our last strong request for people to step forward to volunteer as organizers for Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration on Saturday, Nov. 14.

We are very pleased that we have 24 organizers in place so far, but we would like more. Remember that there will be a huge flood of interest in these events if Luis Gutierrez files his Amnesty bill before the 14th!

We also will be receiving more press coverage over the coming week so we need more towns and cities organized to receive the beneifits of that coverage.

Soon, our full attention will turn to 1. Getting more people to attend the events we do have organized. 2. Turning up the volume on our lobbying efforts and 3. Channeling the Tea Party efforts into more support for our lobbying against Amnesty and illegal immigration.

We have made becoming an organizer very simple.

You can simply pick a location where you want people to join you to hold signs and flags and to talk about Amnesty for illegal aliens or you can start off with something simple and build it up with guest speakers if you like.

The most important thing right now is to provide the American public with as many events as possible for each event, even if only a small gathering, will be a chance to get the truth out about Amnesty and illegal immigration.

If you, or someone you know is willing to sign up as an organizer, we will provide you with assistance, information, suggestions, etc....

Simply take the following steps.

1. Go to www.AgainstAmnesty.com and make sure you are signed up as a supporter on the homepage, but if the maps and Events List does not show an existing event within a one hour drive of your town, please visit the "Create Town Rally" page and fill out the ORGANIZER form at the bottom.
http://www.againstamnesty.com/organizer_application.php

2. E-mail the exact street address and description of your event location to Info@AgainstAmnesty.com (Ex. 55 Main St. 'City Hall" or 123 Circle Drive "Cactus Park" etc.)

Once you are on our maps and lists, people can contact you by e-mail if they are in your area and have questions.

As you can see, there are thousands of people signing up for these events but not as many organizers in place as we would like to have.

We need new events that have no existing events within an hour's travel, but there are some blank spots on the map where we have lots of interest but no organizers yet.

Tea Parties Against Amnesty
Posted by ALIPAC on November 3rd, 2009 at 11:04am

by Marinka Peschmann
November 3, 2009
Canada Free Press

A preemptive strike to stop amnesty from becoming law is in the works.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is calling on the immigration enforcement movement to team up with the Taxpayer Tea Party and 9/12 movements to hold “Tea Parties Against Amnesty” rallies across America on November 14.

“We know that the honest polling data shows over three to one opposition to the Gutierrez Obama Comprehensive Amnesty path to citizenship legislation,” William Gheen of ALIPAC said in a press release referring to Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez proposed immigration reform legislation. “ALIPAC stands ready to organize and channel the backlash wave of anger that is coming into peaceful civic action designed to remove many lawmakers who do not serve the wishes or interests of their constituents in 2010!”

Luis V. Gutierrez, D-Ill. is the chairman of the Democratic Caucus Task Force on Immigration. He also introduced the Citizenship Promotion Act with then Senator Obama in 2007. It is a bill which, in part, would give $80 million to community organizers to “organize” the immigrant community to become U.S. citizens with the right to vote.

The “Gutierrez Obama Comprehensive Amnesty” plan, as ALIPAC calls it, made news in October when Gutierrez spoke at an event organized by Reform Immigration FOR America. According to their website, “The Campaign to Reform Immigration for America is, in part, a project of the Tides Advocacy Fund.” The Tides Advocacy Fund “is founded on principles of social justice, broadly shared economic opportunity, a robust democratic process and a sustainable environment.”

The key criteria outlined in Gutierrez’s proposed legislation includes:

Quote:
A path to legalization for illegal immigrants who pay taxes, learn English, pass background checks.
A commission to decide appropriate levels of future workers wanting to come to the U.S. This would be instead of a new temporary worker program.
A “21st century enforcement strategies” at the border, that presumably doesn’t include the border fence that Republicans have insisted upon.
Interior enforcement that doesn’t include workplace raids.
A worker verification system with error proof database.
A system based on family reunification
Ag Jobs, giving agricultural workers a path to legalization.
The DREAM Act, which would allow young people who crew up in the U.S. to be able to work and go to college legally.

In an email exchange Gheen said that the November 14 rallies were put together rapidly to catch any backlash that would come from Gutierrez if he files his proposed legislation. Gheen made it clear that these upcoming rallies are a precursor, “We plan larger scale operations in the Spring,” he wrote back.

The last time comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens was put forward was in June 2007 under former President George W. Bush. The bill was defeated when the Senate vote fell 14 votes short of the 60 required to move it forward.

While it is no secret that America’s immigration system is broken, and this longstanding system breakdown adversely affects America’s national security and economy, the latest Rasmussen Report shows, “By a 70% to 22% margin, voters say that gaining control of the borders is more important than legalizing the status of undocumented workers already in the country.”

However, despite the wishes of voters, legalizing illegal aliens inevitably seems to become the dominate topic in the immigration debate. It also appears in impending legislation aside from Gutierrez’s proposals. Before President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration, for instance, in January 2009, Vermont’s Senator Patrick Leahy introduced the tough-titled “Stronger Economy, Stronger Borders Act of 2009,” S. 9. However, in Sen. Leahy’s introduction it is revealed that a wall with Mexico should be “reconsidered” because it is a “symbol of fear and intolerance,” and “harsh penalties and more enforcement” are not a realistic solution to address illegal aliens.

Then there is Senator Charles “Chuck” Schumer, a co-sponsor of S. 9, who also serves as the Chairman of the powerful Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security. His voting record, documented by Ontheissues.org, suggests he is a staunch illegal aliens advocate.

Quote:
Sen. Schumer:

Voted YES on continuing federal funds for declared “sanctuary cities”. (Mar 2008)
Voted YES on comprehensive immigration reform. (Jun 2007)
Voted NO on declaring English as the official language of the US government. (Jun 2007)
Voted YES on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
Voted YES on establishing a Guest Worker program. (May 2006)
Voted YES on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security. (May 2006)
Voted YES on giving Guest Workers a path to citizenship. (May 2006)
Voted NO on limiting immigrant benefits & controlling borders more tightly. (Sep 1996)
Voted NO on prohibiting illegal immigrants from receiving FEMA benefits. (Jul 1994)
Co-sponsored providing funding for social services for noncitizens. (May 2006)
Rated 8% by USBC, indicating an open-border stance. (Dec 2006)

More evidence that legalizing illegal aliens is on the horizon appears in an October 1 interview in the New York Times with the new director of the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas said that the agency “is already planning ahead for the possibility of giving legal status to millions of illegal immigrants.”

This all might be good news for amnesty advocates but here is the bad news — which should concern both points of view on this issue. The notion that the USCIS, tasked in part to keep America safe by keeping unscrupulous people out, is a competent agency and therefore will be equipped to process millions of illegal aliens should amnesty become law is fiction and entirely absurd when one examines the USCIS’ record. For starters, America’s $2.6 billion a-year immigration agency amassed a twenty-year backlog of applications under both Democratic and Repubican administrations. It loses files. Even worse, it is riddled with crime and corruption where bribery, be it for money, gifts or sex is part of their record of achievement that has put America’s national security in jeopardy and arguably contributed to the illegal alien problem in the first place. To expect competency from this troubled bureaucracy could prove to be an exercise in self-defeat.

ALIPAC’s mission is to conduct rallies and protests across America. “We hope that these events combined with our lobbying efforts and support for campaigns will stop these attempts to destroy America through mass illegal immigration and amnesty.”

Americans Vs. Illegals Who Will Win?
Posted by ALIPAC on November 2nd, 2009 at 10:20am
Friends of ALIPAC,

We have good news to report and hope you will react accordingly.

First, our Tea Parties Against Amnesty effort has really picked up steam! We now have 22 cities and towns organized and 3,000 supporters signed up in our first two weeks of operations!

We have announced that Saturday, Nov. 14, will be our warm up to much larger operations in the Spring. More people are signing up to support and to organize each day!

Has a city or town near you been added yet? Check our maps, Events List and News Section daily for updates! www.AgainstAmnesty.com

As of today, Rep. Luis Gutierrez has fallen back from his promise to file his Amnesty bill by Oct. 30. His new claim is that he will file it by the end of November. The President and the US Senate have both fallen back to 2010 time lines.

We are happy to see our opposition falling back into 2010 where we are more likely to defeat their Amnesty plans. Our Tea Parties Against Amnesty are coming together to capture new public support in reaction to the current push for Amnesty, as well as add more political pressure to our existing lobbying campaigns.

Congressman Gutierrez recently told NPR that ramroding health care and energy legislation were part of the planning to push through unpopular AMNESTY legislation, despite popular opposition.

Have you signed up as a supporter yet? Can you quickly organize your city or town? Have you used the "tell others" feature to spread the word at www.AgainstAmnesty.com ?

Organizing an event in your town can be very easy. We just need you as a coordinator so others can contact you by e-mail through www.AgainstAmnesty.com and can gather at a location you arrange. You can do a simple gathering of people with signs and American flags or you can add speakers by inviting local law makers, candidates, talk radio show hosts, organization leaders, or citizen activists!

We have 12 days left to prepare and we are doing all we can to: 1. Organize as many events as possible for Sat. Nov. 14 and 2. Send as many people into those events as possible to push back Gutierrez, and to rally our fellow Americans to defeat Amnesty and reverse illegal immigration once again!

Please use www.AgainstAmnesty.com to sign up to organizer, sign up to add your support, or to tell all of your contacts about this effort!

WILL GOVERNOR CORZINE GO DOWN ON TUESDAY?

A lot of national attention is being focused on the campaign for governor in New Jersey that will be decided this Tuesday Nov. 3.

The race is between Democrat incumbent Jon Corzine and Republican challenger Christopher Christie.

The polls show this race is very close!

ALIPAC cannot endorse or support state level candidates in elections.

However, we can remind all of our supporters that we recently fought and defeated Gov. Jon Corzine earlier in 2009 when he was pushing state legislation that would provide in-state tuition benefits for illegal aliens!

In fact, ALIPAC proclaimed that Jon Corzine would never be reelected barring any major deficits by his opponent due to his support for pro-illegal alien legislation, rejected by over 80% of Americans including the fine citizens of New Jersey.

In-state tuition for illegal aliens would force taxpayers to pay to replace our own children in the limited seats in colleges with illegal aliens! ALIPAC helped defeat this measure in several states in 2009 and over ten states since 2005.

Corzine's numbers fell after his support for that unpopular legislation and President Obama has personally deployed into NJ to support Corzine in the final moments of the campaign.

If Jon Corzine is defeated by Chris Christie, it will reinforce the pattern of major candidates becoming unelectable after receiving a lot of publicity for supporting illegal aliens.

John McCain played the role of Republican front man for Amnesty in 2006 and 2007 and became so despised that millions of voters refused to support him. Hillary Clinton got in a scandal flip flopping on her support for licenses for illegal aliens, her numbers fell and never recovered enough for her to win either!

Then there was infamous Gov. Elliot Spitzer of New York state. Even before his hooker scandal, his numbers had fallen so low after his support for licenses for illegal aliens that most political analysts announced Spitzer's political career was over. A national poll that emerged during that scandal showed 77% of Americans oppose licenses for illegal aliens.

While there are many different factors that determine which candidate will or will not win a race, and no one factor usually dominates the outcome, we have a clear pattern emerging.

That pattern is that candidates who get caught up in major publicity showing them on the side of illegal aliens usually become unelectable!

Tomorrow's election in New Jersey will determine if that pattern holds or is defied.

Will the voters of New Jersey return Corzine to office after he recently pushed for illegal aliens to have in-state tuition provided by taxpayers? Or will voters go with one of the two Republican candidates who came out publicly against Corzine's push for the unpopular state legislation?

We will find out tomorrow.

Feds Only Deport Half of Illegal Aliens Arrested for Crimes in America!

US Govt Not Deporting Half Of Illegal Alien Criminals

2009 October 28 Wednesday
by By Randall Parker
Parapundit(dot)com

A new study from the Center for Immigration Studies highlights the effectiveness of a federal policy to allow local law enforcement officials to do immigration law enforcement. Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) of 1995 enables police to detain illegal aliens. But a shortage of federal resources allows many criminals to escape deportation.

287(g) provides a significant boost to ICE’s ability to identify and remove aliens who have committed crimes. In 2008, the number of 287(g) arrests (45,368) was equal to one-fifth of all criminal aliens identified by ICE in prisons and jails nationwide (221,085).

287(g) is cost-effective and much less expensive than other criminal alien identification programs such as Secure Communities and Fugitive Operations. For example, in 2008 ICE spent $219 million to remove 34,000 fugitive aliens (who are mostly criminals). In 2008, ICE was given $40 million for 287(g), which produced more than 45,000 arrests of aliens who were involved in state and local crimes.

The biggest obstacle to improving and expanding 287(g) is the lack of funding for bed space to detain illegal aliens who have committed crimes who are discovered by local agencies. Currently ICE is removing fewer than half of the criminal aliens identified under 287(g).

Deportation of illegal aliens who commit crimes (aside from entering and staying illegally) is great for citizens because the criminals are, well, criminals. They prey on non-criminals. When police are able to identify criminals as illegal aliens the US government should make the necessary effort to deport every last one of them. That the US government can't even get it together enough to deport all the criminal aliens is pathetic.

Tea Parties Ready To Harness Immigration Backlash This Week
Posted by ALIPAC on October 26th, 2009 at 10:17am

October 26, 2009

Contact: ALIPAC, www.alipac.us, (866) 703-0864

With only four days remaining until Congressman Luis Guitierez files his Comprehensive Amnesty legislation, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is moving into position to harness the dramatic public backlash by positioning the group on social media sites and preparing Tea Parties Against Amnesty to be held across America on November 14!

"We know that the honest polling data shows over three to one opposition to the Gutierrez Obama Comprehensive Amnesty path to citizenship legislation," says William Gheen of ALIPAC. "ALIPAC stands ready to organize and channel the backlash wave of anger that is coming into peaceful civic action designed to remove many lawmakers who do not serve the wishes or interests of their constituents in 2010!"

ALIPAC recently became the most supported organization in the nation on either side of the immigration debates on Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. The group has even surpassed organizations with multi-million dollar budgets such as the National Council of La Raza.

"ALIPAC is dominating the pro-Amnesty groups in the social media just as we have on the web for years because truth be known we have much more support from the American public than they do!" said William Gheen.

Americans for Legal Immigration is also setting up "Tea Parties Against Amnesty" across the nation on November 14 to capture the backlash against the Gutierrez Obama Amnesty Bill.

The Tea Party Against Amnesty effort is being organized at www.AgainstAmnesty.com

This new website has fourteen events setup and seven hundred supporters after less than two weeks of operation. A huge wave of new supporters are expected, once Gutierrez Obama files his Amnesty bill.

"Make my day punk!" said Gheen. "Gutierrez and his fellow traitors in Washington know they are running out of time on this Amnesty legislation and since 78% of Americans oppose what they are trying to do and many consider it Treason."

The Tea Parties Against Amnesty on November 14 are only a warm up to collect support from the initial backlash and in preparation for a larger number of events being planned for the Spring of 2010, when the Amnesty battle will be full swing, if Gutierrez follows through with his threat to file a bill by October 30.

Obama Administration STOPS Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Enforcing Immigration Laws!
Posted by ALIPAC on October 24th, 2009 at 3:03pm

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told CNSNews.com that after reviewing the Memorandum of Agreements between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and state and local law enforcement agencies in 23 states, the only agency to lose its authority under the 287(g) program to operate task forces that can enforce federal immigration laws is the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

“It’s the only one,” Matt Chandler, spokesman for the DHS, said on Thursday.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who oversees the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, is well-known for arresting illegal immigrants to be deported, and his success in catching illegals has been criticized largely by liberal public leaders and activists.

On Oct. 16, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that 67 agreements had been renewed, including Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s department, which retained its authority to check the immigration status of individuals who are booked into Maricopa County jails but is no longer authorized to check immigration status during street operations.

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 added Section 287(g), which explains performance of immigration-officer functions by state officers and employees, to the Immigration and Nationality Act. It authorizes the secretary of DHS to enter into agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies, permitting officers trained and certified by ICE to perform immigration law enforcement functions.

Since January 2006, the 287(g) program is credited with identifying more than 130,000 potentially removable aliens, the majority of which are incarcerated in local jails. More than 1,075 law-enforcement officers have been trained and certified through the program.

“Coordinating with our state and local partners is important to smart and effective enforcement of our immigration laws,” Napolitano said in announcing the renewals. “These new agreements promote public safety by prioritizing the identification and removal of dangerous criminal aliens, and ensure consistency and stronger federal oversight of state and local immigration law enforcement efforts across the nation.”

“The rules set forth in these agreements will enhance our efforts to work together effectively with our local partners,” Napolitano said.

But critics charge that the Obama administration is trying to appease people who oppose amnesty for the 12 to 14 million people who are believed to be in the United States illegally.

“We are troubled by this administration’s promotion of 287(g) contracts and other programs that continue to hijack state and local criminal justice systems to enforce federal civil immigration law,” Margaret Huang, executive director of the pro-amnesty Rights Working Group, said ahead of a demonstration at DHS headquarters on Thursday to oppose the agreements.

“While Arizona is an egregious case, this is only one example of the abuses that can occur under such programs,” Huang added.

As reported earlier by CNSNews.com, the Hispanic Congressional Caucus has asked the Obama administration to terminate the 287(g) program because it claims the program uses racial profiling to target immigrant communities.

“These agreements are the subject of serious concern as local law enforcement agencies have used the new powers to target communities of color, including a disproportionate number of Latinos, for arrest,” the caucus wrote in a letter to President Barack Obama on Sept. 28.

“The 287(g) program, which was significantly expanded throughout the Bush administration, relinquishes the power to enforce federal immigration laws to local law enforcement and corrections agencies,” the caucus added.

“The misuse of the 287(g) program by its current participants has rendered it ineffective and dangerous to community safety,” the letter said.

CNSNews.com also earlier reported that Sheriff Arpaio could use another federal law to continue to enforce immigration laws in Maricopa County.

Kris Kobach, former counsel to U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and a professor of law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, told CNSNews.com that there is a federal statute that addresses immigration law and local law enforcement.

“Federal law does expressly authorize state and local police to make immigration arrests of previously deported felons who return to the United States and are in the country unlawfully,” Kobach said.

“That federal statute is found at 8 U.S.C. 1252c. In addition, as the U.S. Department of Justice officially recognized in 2002, state and local police possess the inherent authority to arrest illegal aliens and detain them briefly in order to transfer them to federal custody,” Kobach added.

“Those are two forms of arrest authority that Sheriff Arpaio possesses, apart from Section 287(g) authority,” Kobach said.

Arpaio claims that more than 30,000 individuals have been identified as illegal aliens since his department signed on with ICE in 2007.

Arpaio said he plans to continue to arrest people who are in the United States illegally.

“We’ve been doing it for two years and have been very successful, but I guess they don’t like to enforce illegal immigration laws,” Arpaio told CNSNews.com. “[It] doesn’t make any difference. I’m still going to continue my programs, regardless of what the feds like or don’t like.”

In the Oct. 16 announcement, the DHS said that 55 agreements had been signed by ICE and the partnering agency; 12 agreements had been reached and await approval by the local jurisdiction's supervisory authority; and six agreements had negotiations underway.

Six jurisdictions did not re-sign the new 287(g) agreement or withdrew during negotiations for a variety of reasons, including implementation of the Secure Communities program, budgetary constraints and limited program utilization, according to the DHS.

The Obama administration's gutting of key immigration and border security programs combined with a push for amnesty legislation by the Hispanic Caucus in Congress has led to a national organization calling for Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration to be held across America on Saturday, Nov. 14!

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, also known as ALIPAC, is a multi-party and multi-ethnic national organization founded on 9/11 in 2004 to oppose illegal immigration and amnesty, while supporting border security and the enforcement of our existing immigration laws.

"Obama is creating an unlawful and unconstitutional Amnesty for illegal immigrants today by completely paralyzing the enforcement of our existing immigration laws." said William Gheen spokesman of ALIPAC. "By doing so he is defying the will of Congress and over 80% of America's citizens of every hue and political persuasion. He is now officially worse on immigration than Bush!"

Numerous national and local polls indicate that a super majority of Americans oppose President Obama's continuation of the Bush non-enforcement doctrine and path to citizenship agenda for illegal aliens. A recent Pulse Opinion Research, LLC, poll of 1,000 likely voters on August 26, 2009 found seventy-eight percent (78%) of likely voters were opposed to legalizing the status of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., with only 19% supporting it!

"We have Republicans and Democrats in Washington today who are acting like a one party system, while betraying the American public in unprecedented fashion," said William Gheen. "It is time for Americans to Unite and to light up the switchboards in DC and gather in the streets and parks to demand that attempts to pass any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens cease or be defeated!"

ALIPAC's call for supporters and Tea Party organizers comes on the heels of this week's announcements by Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and Illinois Democrat Luis Gutierrez that Amnesty legislation will be filed by the Hispanic Caucus in Congress by the end of October.

This unpopular attempt to implement and pass Amnesty comes at a time when public anger towards Washington is at historically high levels, along with historic unemployment, underemployment, foreclosure, debt, and deficit levels.

All Americans who oppose Amnesty for illegal aliens are encouraged to visit ALIPAC's new website at www.AgainstAmnesty.com to sign up to support or organize Tea Party Rallies Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration on November 14, 2009!

Www.AgainstAmnesty.com will be updated daily with the latest news about the push for Amnesty for illegals, new protest locations around the nation, and important tips on how to lobby lawmakers.

Tea Party Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration Volunteers Needed
Posted by ALIPAC -- Americans for Legal Immigration PAC on October 12th, 2009 at 12:14pm

Friends of ALIPAC,

Tomorrow we will announce, via national press release, our ambitions to make history on November 14, 2009 with a wave of unprecedented Tea Parties Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration across America.

We need your help to prepare.

We need help with four things today.

ORGANIZERS

One, we need volunteers that are willing to setup an event in your town or city. This is very easy to do and you can do something simple such as just picking a location where a few people gather with signs and flags or you can build your event up to a larger venue with stages and guest speakers. The most important thing is that you volunteer to give people a place to gather with you to speak out against Amnesty on 11-14!

Being an organizer is a great opportunity for someone that has never done one before or an experienced hand involved with the Tea Party or 9/12 events!

If you are willing to be an organizer, all you need to do is pick out the location you plan to have your event and the times you want to have your event. We recommend three hour events. If your event location is on private property, you will need to approach the owner for full permission after you tell us your location. If your event is on public property you will need to call local police to see, if you need a simple permit or not. Cities and towns cannot charge you excessive fees for protests or rallies and we all remember how the illegal aliens took to the streets without even seeking permits a few years ago.

If you can get us your information before Tuesday morning that is great. If not, please send us your info soon.

If you are willing to be an organizer please send us the following info. We need a phone number for our records but if you don't want the number displayed let us know.

The success or failure of our efforts on 11-14-09 could greatly depend on the number of web links out there pointing at us. We need you to get the ball rolling.

If your group or organization or one that you belong to is willing to become a SPONSOR of the 11-14-09 events with us, please have them contact us. Each sponsoring organization must agree to help in three ways. 1. To organize a minimum of one event somewhere in America with one of their officers speaking at the event. 2. To prominently display banners and links to us on their primary website and 3. To contact each and every e-mail contact and social media contact they have on behalf of www.AgainstAmnesty.com

We need more sponsors soon, so please let us know.

Our goal will be to get as many events lined up with as many people signed up as possible.

We will put out a call for attendees next and you can go sign up to attend rallies and encourage your friends to do so when we put out the call.

You will receive a copy of the press release and official announcement tomorrow morning.

Let's get as many links in, errors corrected, events and organizers listed, and sponsors on board as we can before tomorrow's official launch!
